Barry Chen, Trader

Barry Chen serves as a Trading Assistant on Baird’s Agency Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) team. In this role, he supports the team in monitoring market trends and conducting research and analysis to support trading strategies and decision making. He further supports the execution of trades, assists in CMO structuring, and ensures seamless communication and operations across the desk.

With a strong foundation in fixed income, Barry contributes to the team's efficiency and accuracy in managing agency MBS. His attention to detail and commitment to client service help uphold Baird’s reputation for reliability and excellence in institutional trading. Barry graduated from Wake Forest University with a Master of Science in Business Analytics and a bachelor’s degree in economics.
