Baird served as sole underwriter on the City’s $19,305,000 General Obligation Bonds, Series 2023A which generated $20 million to finance various improvements to the Peoria Civic Center.

Baird received $69,280,000 in orders (3.6x the par amount) with oversubscriptions on 8 of 10 maturities by as much as 8.6x. On a day where the AAA MMD index was flat, we were able to lower yields by 2 to 8 basis points (0.02% to 0.08%) on six maturities, which decreased debt service by approximately $82,000.
