Seventh year recognized, Baird ranks No. 39

MILWAUKEE, July 18, 2022 - Great Place to Work® and Fortune® magazine have honored Baird as one of the 2022 Best Workplaces for MillennialsTM. This is Baird’s seventh time being named to this prestigious list, this year ranking No. 39. Such recognition further solidifies Baird’s commitment to being one of the best companies to work for in the country.

Great Place to Work measured the differences in over 413,000 Millennials’ survey responses to those of other generations taken from America’s largest ongoing annual workforce study of over 1 million employee survey responses and data from companies that represent more than 6.1 million U.S. employees. In that survey, 96% of Baird’s associates said Baird is a great place to work, compared to the 57% of employees at a typical U.S. company.

“It is a pleasure to be recognized by our associates as a great workplace for millennials,” said Steve Booth, Baird Chairman & CEO. “Our ongoing commitment to being a great place to work for associates fosters an environment where our talented associates can excel and provide the best financial advice and service to our clients.”

Baird’s PULSE Associate Resource Group creates a platform for associates to collaborate and build connections with peers and leaders. PULSE supports Baird’s mission of being a great place to work by supporting the firm’s retention efforts with opportunities for networking, information-sharing, and skill building.

“Baird continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to the success of not only Millennials, but all Next Gen associates,” said Nick Hookham, Senior Business Analyst and Chair of Baird’s PULSE Associate Resource Group. “We are grateful for the ongoing support we receive to provide resources, networking, and development opportunities for our associates and their Next Gen clients.”

Great Place to Work is the only company culture award in America that selects winners based on how fairly employees are treated. Companies are assessed on how well they are creating a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status, or any aspect of who employees are or what their role is.

“These companies value their millennial workers by showing genuine care, flexibility and purpose in ways that matter to this generation,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “They expect company values to be lived by their leaders, which, in turn, elicits their loyalty and trust. Congratulations to the Best Workplaces for Millennials for their hard work.”

Earlier this year, Baird also ranked No. 27 on the Fortune® 100 Best Companies to Work For® list. In 2021, Baird was also recognized on the Fortune® Best Workplaces for Women list and theFortune® Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance list.
