Baird Capital Raises $215MM Venture Capital Fund V, Chicago Firm’s Largest To Date

Celebrates 20 years of early and expansion-stage investing in Healthcare, Technology

CHICAGO, March 31, 2020 – Baird Capital, the direct private investment arm of Baird, announced the final close of its fifth U.S. Venture Capital fund with a total of $215 million in committed capital, well exceeding its target and the size of its previous funds. The fund is anchored by a number of returning and new institutions, foundations and family offices, a significant achievement marking 20 years of Baird Capital's venture investing.

Baird Capital’s experienced investment team includes Michael Liang, Jim Pavlik, Benedict Rocchio, Nicole Walker, Joanna Arras and Amy Kobe.

• Greenlight Biosciences -A bio-performance company with a unique, cell-free production platform delivering high-performing RNA solutions to human, plant and animal challenges.
