Baird received a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2023 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking tool that measures policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. With this score, Baird achieved the designation of being a “Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion” recipient.

This represents Baird’s seventh time the firm has achieved a score of 100 on the CEI, and the fifth year in a row. A total of 1,384 companies participated in this year’s CEI survey, and 545 employers achieved a score of 100.

Baird’s Spectrum Associate Resource Group is committed to addressing the needs and interests of the firm’s LGBTQ+ associates while building connections, as well as pursuing unique business and recruiting opportunities, in the broader community. Founded more than 10 years ago, Spectrum provides educational sessions and networking opportunities for LGBTQ+ associates and allies. The group has supported national organizations and formed partnerships with several Milwaukee-area community organizations.
