Novetta provides unique insights and disruptive technologies to transform how defense, intelligence, and law enforcement organizations use data to better meet their mission objectives. Novetta is headquartered in McLean, Virginia.

Novetta will expand AFS’ advanced capabilities, broaden its customer relationships, and complement AFS’ work in the national security sector with greater scale to their digital capabilities. Novetta brings 1,300, highly technical employees, including software developers, data scientists, and specialists in AI, machine learning, cyber, cloud, and information exploitation, and will join Accenture Federal Services’ more than 10,500 employees. The combined company will deliver digital transformational capabilities to ensure more innovation, agility, and security to its federal customers.

AFS’ acquisition of Novetta illustrates the following buyer priorities in Government & Defense M&A: (1) market priority for companies of scale with distinguished capabilities and proprietary technology in high growth markets like machine learning, cyber, and cloud engineering; (2) expansion of rapid prototyping and cutting-edge technologies driving deep customer intimacy for long-term growth; and (3) access to an elite cadre of cleared, highly technical talent with deep subject matter expertise driving mission outcomes.
