Commonwealth Computer Research, Inc. (“CCRi” or the “Company”) has been acquired by General Atomics (“GA”).
CCRi is a leader in designing and deploying AI-enabled advanced analytics for real time, global situational awareness. The Company has a long-standing presence and sole source positions on enduring programs of national significance. CCRi develops scalable big data solutions to rapidly create activity-based intelligence and information dominance for multi-domain operations. CCRi is headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia.
General Atomics’ acquisition of CCRi leverages CCRi’s leading edge analytic capabilities and solutions and combines them with GA’s portfolio of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (“ISR”) platforms across multiple domains to create a compelling, full-scope portfolio of capabilities for global situational awareness.
General Atomics is a privately held defense and diversified technologies enterprise, founded in 1955 as a Division of General Dynamics and acquired by the Blue family in 1986. GA and affiliated companies operate on five continents and include GA Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI). The group occupies 8+ million square feet of engineering, laboratory and manufacturing facilities and comprises over 15,000 employees. General Atomics is headquartered in San Diego, California.
