Peter Kies is a Managing Director in Baird’s Global Investment Banking business where he is the Head of Equity Capital Markets and Head of Technology & Services Investment Banking.  In his 20+ years at Baird, Peter has held several leadership positions, including Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets, Chairman of the Investment Banking and firm-wide Recruiting Committees, member of the Investment Committee of the Baird Venture Fund and a Director of the Baird Foundation.  He has built and led several investment banking industry teams and has extensive experience in originating and executing mergers, acquisitions and equity transactions across a wide range of industries. He is a member of the Investment Banking Management Committee and Chairman of the Equity Capital Markets Committee.

Prior to joining Baird in 1992, Peter was a Director of Investments for The Equitable and on the Executive Staff of Governor Tommy Thompson.  Peter received his BBA and MS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a member of the University of Wisconsin Foundation Board of Directors.

Dan joined Baird in 2004 and is a Managing Director in the Technology & Services Group. Prior to joining Baird, he spent six years in valuation advisory and strategy consulting at A.T. Kearney and McKinsey & Co. covering the retail and consumer services sectors. Previously, he worked for a real estate and transaction advisory firm providing financial structuring and advisory services. Dan received his MBA degree from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BBA with highest distinction in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Michigan Business School.

Prior to attending Kellogg, Dan helped found Honey-Can-Do, a consumer products start-up company specializing in home organization and storage products.

He holds a Masters degree in Chemistry from Oxford University.

Chris Carlevato joined Baird in 2013 and is a member of the Technology & Services Group. Chris provides analytical support on equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions and other financial advisory services. Recent transactions include the sale of Valet Waste to Ares; the sale of Universal Services of America to Warburg Pincus; the sale of Trench Plate Rental Co. to Oaktree; and the initial public offering for ServiceMaster. Chris is active with Baird’s recruiting and is acting as co-lead for associate recruiting. Chris received his M.B.A., with high honors, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and received his B.S. in Computer Engineering from Purdue University.

She joined Baird in 2018 from Houlihan Lokey where she was an Associate in their Government Services investment banking group. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Nicole was member of the Investment Banking Group of M&T Bank. Nicole is CPA licensed in the State of Maryland. She received a B.S. in Finance from Wake Forest University and a M.S. in Accountancy from Wake Forest University.

Brian Cole is a member of Baird’s Technology and Services Group. In his role, Brian leads M&A and capital raising transactions, advising premier tech-enabled outsourcing companies. Prior to joining Baird, Brian was a Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Transaction Services practice where he led M&A Advisory and Financial Due Diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients including LBOs, mergers, carve-out divestitures, take-privates, and joint ventures.

In the community, Brian serves on the advisory board of the United Performing Arts Foundation, an umbrella charitable organization and the largest donor to the state’s performing arts organizations. Brian received his M.B.A. from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a B.S. in business from the same institution with honors.

Brian Doyal is Co-Head of Baird’s Global Investment Banking business where he jointly oversees the firm’s global corporate finance and M&A activities. In addition, Brian is a member of the executive committee of Baird’s board of directors. Previously, Brian was the Head of the Technology & Services and Healthcare Investment Banking teams at Baird.

Before joining Baird in 2004, Brian worked 14 years at Credit Suisse First Boston where he was co-head of the Global Services group. From 1992 to 1994, Brian worked for the Corporate Finance group of General Electric Capital Corporation, where he was responsible for making equity investments and loans to highly leveraged companies.

Brian received a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Thomas Fetzer joined Baird in 2015. Over the last 20 years he has advised international corporations and private equity clients on M&A and financing transactions valued at more than $50 billion across various sectors and geographies. Prior to joining Baird, Thomas was European Head of Industrials at Jefferies and a Managing Director in the Global Industrial Group at UBS. Before that he was a Principal at Greenhill & Co, helping to establish their M&A advisory business in Germany. He started his career at Merrill Lynch in London. Thomas graduated from ESB Reutlingen and Middlesex University with a double B.A. in Business Administration and received an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.

Erich Fritz is a Director on Baird’s Global Technology & Services team covering Industrial Software & IoT / Enterprise AI. Erich joined Baird in 2021, bringing many years of experience and knowledge of industrial software, IoT & telematics, enterprise infrastructure software and selected vertical artificial intelligence applications. He works closely with both Baird’s Global Industrial and Global Technology & Services teams. Prior to Baird, Erich led Enterprise AIoT & Industrial Software Investment Banking at Jefferies. He also held investment banking roles at RBC Capital Markets, Canaccord Genuity and UBS. Erich began his career as an electrical engineer within the Advanced Concepts & Technologies division of Northrop Grumman, an aerospace and defense technology company. He graduated from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business with an MBA in Finance and from Penn State University with a B.S. in Engineering.

Macie House joined Baird in 2017. She is a member of the Equity Capital Markets team and leads the firm’s equity origination efforts in the Technology & Services sector. Macie comes to Baird with 25 years of investment banking and corporate development experience. The bulk of her career was spent at Pacific Crest Securities where she was most recently a Principal and Director in the equity capital markets division of the firm’s investment banking business. In this role, she was directly responsible for originating and executing public and private offerings within Software (SaaS), Security, Internet and IoT, Industrial Technology, Consumer and Communication sectors. During her 20-plus years with Pacific Crest, she participated in underwriting over 100 public offerings, raising over $60B in proceeds. Macie is an active supporter and Board member of The Children’s Cancer Association. She is a graduate of Marylhurst University.

Rob Kaderavek joined Baird’s Global Technology and Services Group in 2014. Prior to Baird, Rob served 21 years in the United States Army as an Armor officer. His Army experiences include: graduating Airborne, Air Assault and Ranger Schools; deploying to Iraq and earning the Bronze Star Medal; serving as Associate Professor of Economics at West Point and serving as the Professor of Military Science at Marquette University. Rob retired from active service after leading thousands of soldiers and their families and being promoted to the rank of Colonel (O-6). Rob received his MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and earned his B.S. in Mathematical Economics with high honors from the United States Military Academy (West Point).

Previously, Jordan was a Vice President with Lazard based in New York, where he focused in the healthcare industry. Prior to Lazard, Jordan worked as an analyst and associate, focused on healthcare, for Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. and JP Morgan. Jordan received his B.S. in Finance and International Business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

John Lanza joined Baird in 2000 and has extensive experience in executing mergers, acquisitions and capital raising transactions.  John spent his first year in Baird’s Investing Banking Group and then worked as an analyst in the Equity Research Department.  He rejoined investment banking in 2003 at which time he founded the Industrial Services practice to capitalize on the growing interest in construction, engineering, infrastructure and environmental services industries.  John maintains an active dialogue with a broad group of services firms and is the primary relationship banker for Andy Wittmann’s Industrial Services coverage universe.  John’s experience also includes five years as an auditor with Deloitte & Touche where he ultimately reached the level of manager.  He earned an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business Administration.  In addition, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland College Park where he was an honors student.

Satoshi is a Managing Director and Director of Japan M&A. In his role, Satoshi leads the firm's cross-border M&A origination and execution efforts involving Japanese companies, working across all of Baird's industry groups and geographies. During his career, Satoshi has successfully completed 50+ M&A transactions totaling over $20 billion in value, the vast majority of which are cross-border deals involving Japanese companies. Prior to joining Baird in 2012, Satoshi was a Managing Director at Barclays Capital. Prior to joining Barclays in 2009, he was a Managing Director at Nomura Securities, which had acquired Lehman Brothers' former Asian & European operations. Prior to Nomura, Satoshi spent 11 years at Lehman Brothers in Tokyo and New York. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers in 1997, Satoshi worked at Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan. Satoshi has a B.A. in Economics from Keio University, Tokyo.

John joined Baird in 2007 as a Managing Director and Head of Baird's Palo Alto Investment Banking office. Prior to joining Baird, he spent 13 years in the investment banking group at AG Edwards (now Wachovia Securities) and established AG Edwards' West Coast Technology Investment Banking practice. During his tenure at AG Edwards, John led his clients in a variety of transactions including public and private equity financings, convertible securities offerings, buy-and sell-side merger and acquisition assignments and other financial advisory activities. From 1989 to 1992, he worked for KPMG Peat Marwick where he was a senior level auditor responsible for public and private company financial audits.

John received a BS degree in Accounting, cum laude, from Georgetown University, and a MBA in Finance and Marketing from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is also a graduate from the Securities Industry Institute at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Todd is the Co-head of North American M&A and a member of Baird’s M&A Fairness Opinion Committee. He joined Baird in 2019 after nearly 20 years at Credit Suisse, where he was Co-Head of the Global Services Group, a member of the Investment Banking Advisory Committee, and Co-Head of Credit Suisse’s Chicago office for Investment Banking and Capital Markets. Todd has advised Fortune 500 companies, middle market companies and leading private equity firms in a broad range of strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, corporate sales and divestitures, special committee assignments, proxy contests and hostile transactions, as well as debt and equity capital raises. Todd received a B.A. from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago.

Brad Page joins Baird from William Blair where he was previously a Partner and Managing Director having established and led the firm’s Environmental Services Investment Banking practice. During his nine years at William Blair, Brad partnered with public and private companies across M&A and debt and equity capital markets to complete over 35 transactions.

Representative past assignments include the sale of StormTrap to Warren Equity Partners, the sale of BluSky Restoration to Dominus Capital, the sale of GeoStabilization to KKR, the sale of Lakeshore Recycling to Goldman Sachs, the acquisition of Winters Bros of CT on behalf of IMPERO Waste Services, the sale of Wind River Environmental to Gryphon Investors, the acquisition of Airgas-Refrigerants, Inc. on behalf of Hudson Technologies, and the sale of ENTACT to PPC.

Pearson has extensive experience leading software M&A, fundraising and other corporate finance advisory transactions. He has advised on many leading technology transactions in Europe that involved software applications across a range of verticals, including oil & gas, gaming, healthcare, image processing insurance, HR, procurement, payments, hosting, cloud cyber and digital infrastructure. Prior to his role at EY, he was a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he helped establish the firm’s business in Central Europe. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Exeter.

He earned an MBA from Cass Business School, as well as a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Otago.

Craig brings more than 17 years of investment banking and corporate development experience to Baird. Most recently, he spent over 10 years focused on the software sector at Pacific Crest Securities, the tech division of KeyBanc Capital Markets. In this role, Craig worked on a broad range of M&A advisory, private placement and public offering transactions and played a key role in building the firm’s software practice. Earlier in his career, Craig worked in a corporate development role at Seagate Technology, a data storage company, and held investment banking positions at UBS and Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration..

Chase Sanders is a Managing Director in Baird’s Technology & Services group, where he focuses on Enterprise Software, SaaS and Healthcare IT. Chase has 23 years of total experience, including 18 years as an advisor to technology businesses and five years as CEO of a growth company. Prior to joining Baird, Chase was a partner and Managing Director with Signal Hill Capital Group, a boutique investment bank focused on growth stage IT companies. Prior to that, Chase was CEO of Atlantis LLC, a consumer home services company that he took from start-up to operations in eight states before successfully exiting the business.

Previously, Chase was the senior east coast software banker with Bear, Stearns in New York, and also served in the media and telecom investment banking group at Bank of America Securities. Chase began his career as a corporate and M&A attorney with the leading law firms of DLA Piper and Hogan Lovells. Chase received a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and a JD cum laude from Harvard Law School.

He holds a B.S. in Management and Finance from the University of Miami.

John has extensive experience in working with clients across a number of technology and services sub-sectors including financial and corporate services outsourcing, testing/inspection/certification/compliance (“TICC”) and critical industrial / facility services. Prior to joining Baird in 2010, John was an Associate with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Multi-Industries Investment Banking team. John started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at a Canadian investment bank in Toronto. John received his MBA from INSEAD.

Eric is a Managing Director in Baird’s Global Technology & Services Investment Banking team, covering internet and software. He joined Baird in 2018 from KeyBanc Capital Markets, formerly Pacific Crest Securities, where he served most recently as Managing Director and the head of internet & enabling software investment banking. With more than 20 years of investment banking experience, Eric has broad-based transaction experience, working on behalf of clients such as: Shopify, DoubleVerify, Alibaba Group, Wayfair, Yext, Zillow, Homeaway and many other notable names. Earlier in his career, Eric was a vice president in the technology investment banking group at Bear Stearns where he focused on software. He also held technology investment banking roles at FBR and Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup). Eric graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.S. in Business Administration.
