Brian Doyal is Co-Head of Baird’s Global Investment Banking business where he jointly oversees the firm’s global corporate finance and M&A activities. In addition, Brian is a member of the executive committee of Baird’s board of directors. Previously, Brian was the Head of the Technology & Services and Healthcare Investment Banking teams at Baird.

Before joining Baird in 2004, Brian worked 14 years at Credit Suisse First Boston where he was co-head of the Global Services group. From 1992 to 1994, Brian worked for the Corporate Finance group of General Electric Capital Corporation, where he was responsible for making equity investments and loans to highly leveraged companies.

Brian received a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Brian McDonagh is Co-Head of Baird’s Global Investment Banking business where he jointly oversees the firm’s global corporate finance and Mergers & Acquisitions activities. In addition, Brian is Co-Head of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice, playing a senior role on many transactions involving Baird's key banking clients. He is Chairperson of the Baird's Fairness Opinion Committee.

Brian has over 25 years of experience in the global M&A market, through which he has developed extensive experience in originating and executing a broad range of strategic transactions for publicly traded, sponsor-owned and privately owned middle market companies across a wide variety of industries.

Prior to joining Baird in 2008, Brian spent almost 13 years at Wachovia Securities in Charlotte, NC, serving as Head of the Industrial Growth M&A Group and a member of the firm's Fairness Opinion Committee. He also spent over a decade in New York in the Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group of a predecessor firm to JPMorgan Chase, ultimately leading the origination and execution of domestic and cross-border advisory transactions with the firm's key industrial clients in his role as Co-Head of the Global Industrial M&A effort.

Justin is a Managing Director in Baird's Industrial Group and has coverage responsibility for the global packaging industry. Justin’s investment banking experience covers a range of products, including mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, high yield debt and leveraged lending. Justin has advised on more than 85 transactions involving a variety of publicly traded, sponsor-owned and privately owned companies within a number of different industries, including more than 50 transactions totaling over $13 billion in transaction value in the packaging sector.

Prior to joining Baird in 2003, Justin was with Deutsche Bank Securities for nearly five years where he worked on numerous M&A and financing transactions primarily in the industrial sector. He received his MBA degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and graduated with a BA degree in Economics from Haverford College.

Kearney and McKinsey & Co. covering the retail and consumer services sectors. Previously, he worked for a real estate and transaction advisory firm providing financial structuring and advisory services. Dan received his MBA degree from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BBA with highest distinction in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Michigan Business School.

Robert Andrews is a Managing Director in Baird's Healthcare investment banking practice. Rob joined Baird in 2013 and has over 20 years of banking experience. Prior to CIT, Rob held investment banking positions at Stout Risius Ross Advisors, Houlihan Lokey, Lazard and ABN AMRO. Scot Berg is a member of Baird’s Financial Sponsor Coverage Group, managing the firm’s relationships with a number of leading private equity firms. Scot joined Baird from RBC Capital Markets where he was a Managing Director within the firm’s Industrial and Diversified Services team. During his tenure at RBC, Scot originated and executed a broad range of advisory and financing mandates in the diversified industrial and services sectors, with a particular focus on capital goods / machinery, industrial services and select building product (HVAC) names. As one of that group’s senior calling officers, he led meaningful idea generation and dialogue with numerous middle-market and large-cap sponsors. Prior to RBC, Scot spent several years in Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s investment banking department. He started his career at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Scot earned a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.

Alfredo joined Baird from Lazard where he spent six years in the Capital Markets Advisory group developing and executing capital structure and capital market solutions (debt and equity) across a wide range of situations, including M&A, LBOs, spin-offs and liability management. Prior to Lazard, Alfredo worked in Citigroup’s Financial Strategy Group advising clients on corporate finance matters including optimal capital structure, credit ratings, liquidity, valuation and risk management.

Alfredo began his career as an engineer after obtaining his Master’s degree in Operations Research from Columbia University and his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from University of Michigan.

Jon Fitzsimmons is a Managing Director in Baird’s Global Investment Banking Group.  Since joining the firm in 2004, Jon has participated in over 60 completed mergers and acquisitions and corporate financing transactions, representing aggregate transaction value in excess of $15 billion.  Jon works across Baird’s Industrial, Healthcare and Consumer teams, with a particular emphasis on transactions in material science, chemicals, filtration and water markets.  From 2006 – 2008, Jon completed a secondment with Baird’s international M&A group in London, where he worked on transactions in England, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.  Jon received a BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he was a Baird Scholar.

He works closely with both Baird’s Global Industrial and Global Technology & Services teams. Prior to Baird, Erich led Enterprise AIoT & Industrial Software Investment Banking at Jefferies. He also held investment banking roles at RBC Capital Markets, Canaccord Genuity and UBS. Erich began his career as an electrical engineer within the Advanced Concepts & Technologies division of Northrop Grumman, an aerospace and defense technology company. He graduated from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business with an MBA in Finance and from Penn State University with a B.S. in Engineering.

Steven joined Baird in 2011 from FBR Capital Markets, where he was Global Head of Real Estate Investment Banking. Steve has in excess of 20 years of investment banking experience. During that time, he has overseen a variety of transactions including numerous initial public offerings, 144A private placements, perpetual preferred offerings, corporate bond and convert offerings, merger and acquisition advisories, asset-level joint ventures, private placements and general financial advisory. During his career, Steve has advised on more than $15 billion of total transaction volume. Steve has held senior banking positions with FBR Capital Markets, Lehman Brothers and CIBC World Markets. He received a BS in Finance from the University of Connecticut.

Since joining Baird in 2010, Doug has participated in a wide variety of advisory assignments representing both buyers and sellers of public and private companies. In addition, Doug spent a number of years in Baird’s Consumer and Industrial teams providing execution support on mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings and other financial advisory services. Prior to joining Baird, Doug was a Consultant at Chemonics International, where he led numerous public-private investment partnerships between multi-national corporations and various U.S. Government agencies, including The Department of Commerce, The Department of Treasury and the State Department. During her 20-plus years with Pacific Crest, she participated in underwriting over 100 public offerings, raising over $60B in proceeds. Peter Robbins is a Director in Baird’s Technology and Services Investment Banking Group with a focus on the Facility, Industrial & Rental (“FIR”) Services effort. Since joining the firm in 2012, he has advised on dozens of equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions and other transactions. Before joining Baird, Peter worked as an analyst in the Risk Department at Morgan Stanley & Co based in New York. He received his M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business with a concentration in Finance and Investment Banking and his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Peter graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with a B.A. in Economics.

Paul joined Baird in 1995 and serves as the Vice Chairman of Global Investment Banking. For 20 years, Paul headed the Global Industrial Investment Banking Group at Baird. Before joining Baird, he was a Partner at Vector Securities International. Earlier, he was a Senior Vice President in the Investment Banking group at Kidder, Peabody & Co. in Chicago. Jeff joined Baird in 2011 as a Managing Director in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group based in McLean, Virginia. His primary areas of focus are equity and M&A opportunities in the office, industrial and health care related real estate space. With more than 20 years in the industry, Jeff has extensive experience including numerous initial public offerings, perpetual preferred offerings, corporate bond and convert offerings, merger and acquisition advisories, asset-level joint ventures, private placements and general financial advisory.

Prior to Baird, Jeff was President of Ridgeway Capital LLC. He also served as Chief Financial Officer of Brandywine Realty Trust and, prior to that, was the Head of the REIT practice at Legg Mason Wood Walker.

Jeff earned a BS in systems engineering from the University of Virginia and a MBA from The College of William & Mary.

Craig brings more than 17 years of investment banking and corporate development experience to Baird. Most recently, he spent over 10 years focused on the software sector at Pacific Crest Securities, the tech division of KeyBanc Capital Markets. In this role, Craig worked on a broad range of M&A advisory, private placement and public offering transactions and played a key role in building the firm’s software practice. Earlier in his career, Craig worked in a corporate development role at Seagate Technology, a data storage company, and held investment banking positions at UBS and Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Chase has 23 years of total experience, including 18 years as an advisor to technology businesses and five years as CEO of a growth company. Prior to joining Baird, Chase was a partner and Managing Director with Signal Hill Capital Group, a boutique investment bank focused on growth stage IT companies. Prior to that, Chase was CEO of Atlantis LLC, a consumer home services company that he took from start-up to operations in eight states before successfully exiting the business.

Previously, Chase was the senior east coast software banker with Bear, Stearns in New York, and also served in the media and telecom investment banking group at Bank of America Securities. Chase began his career as a corporate and M&A attorney with the leading law firms of DLA Piper and Hogan Lovells. Chase received a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and a JD cum laude from Harvard Law School.
