Robert AndrewsRobert Andrews is a Managing Director in Baird's Healthcare investment banking practice. Rob joined Baird in 2013 and has over 20 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Baird, Rob was with CIT Group where he was Managing Director and led the firm's investment banking and lending activities in the medical device sector. Prior to CIT, Rob held investment banking positions at Stout Risius Ross Advisors, Houlihan Lokey, Lazard and ABN AMRO. Rob received his bachelor's degree from Boston College and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Bill SuddathBill Suddath is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Baird’s Healthcare Investment Banking team. In his career, Bill has worked with a range of healthcare clients in the healthcare IT, revenue cycle, clinical outsourcing, pharmacy and distribution sectors, and he brings a diversity of merger and acquisition as well as private and public capital markets experience. Prior to joining Baird, he was a Managing Director in the healthcare investment banking group at JMP Securities. In addition, he previously worked on the healthcare and technology investment banking teams at JP Morgan and SunTrust Robinson-Humphrey. Bill began his investment banking career as an Associate at Hambrecht & Quist in their healthcare investment banking group. Bill graduated cum laude from Georgetown University.

Nick Anderson

Nick AndersonNick Anderson joined Baird in 2012. Nick, a member of the Healthcare IT & Services team, provides deal execution leadership on mergers & acquisitions as well as private and public capital markets transactions. Prior to joining Baird, Nick worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota where he supported corporate development initiatives including deal execution, business unit strategic evaluation and support, and other activities. Nick received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Economics from Macalester College.

Ben Brown

Ben Brown is a member of Baird’s Healthcare Services Investment Banking team.  Since joining Baird in 2005, Ben has executed M&A and equity transactions for healthcare clients across several verticals, including healthcare IT, payer & provider services and pharma services.  In addition, Ben has extensive experience working with clients in the consulting and human capital sectors.  Prior to joining Baird, Ben was a member of Thomas Weisel Partners’ Technology Investment Banking Group in San Francisco, where he focused on clients in the software industry.  Before joining TWP, Ben worked as an Associate at The Halifax Group, a middle-market private equity fund.  Prior to his time in the private equity industry, Ben was an Associate at Growth Capital Partners, a boutique investment bank, and began his career as an Analyst with Prudential Capital Group. Ben received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.B.A. in Finance, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University.

Manish GuptaManish Gupta is a member of Baird’s Healthcare investment banking team with over ten years of experience in the sector. Since joining Baird in 2008, Manish has executed on over thirty M&A and equity transactions across several verticals within healthcare including medical products, biotech, pharma, tools and diagnostics. Prior to joining Baird, Manish worked as a Marketing Manager with the Continence care division of Hollister Inc. and had the responsibility of new business development and innovation management. Prior to Hollister, Manish worked with International Paper Company in R&D role. Manish received an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, an M.S. from The Ohio State University and a B. Tech from Indian Institute of Technology.

Adam Huitt

Adam HuittAdam Huitt is a Managing Director in Baird’s Global Healthcare Investment Banking team focusing on the pharmaceutical services and related sectors including sub-sectors spanning from drug research, development and manufacturing through lab services and distribution. Over his investment banking and corporate strategy career he has advised a range of private and public companies in mergers & acquisition transactions, equity and debt capital raises and valuation and strategy assignments.

Prior to Adam joining Baird in 2020, he served as Managing Director at BlackArch Partners where he headed the firm’s Healthcare practice. Prior to joining BlackArch, Adam was a senior member of the Healthcare Investment Banking group at Wells Fargo Securities, where he focused on pharmaceutical and healthcare services for over a decade. Prior to Wells Fargo, he worked in strategy and operational roles for Hewlett-Packard Company and Eaton Corporation. Adam received an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology.

Lance R. Lange

Lance Lange

Lance Lange is a Managing Director in Baird’s Equity Capital Markets group and leads the firm’s effort to advise healthcare clients on all aspects of the capital raising process.  He is responsible for the origination and execution of all equity transactions, including bought, publicly marketed and confidentially marketed transactions.  Prior to his current role, he led the equity capital markets practice for the industrials sector.  He joined Baird from Lazard Frères & Co. where he was Head of Industrials for ECM and was responsible for capital markets origination, execution and advisory for U.S. listed companies.  Lance is a member of Baird’s Capital Commitments Committee; and, over the course of his career, has completed hundreds of financings and advisory assignments for clients in the healthcare, industrial and business services sectors.  Lance began his career at Merrill Lynch.  He received a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a J.D. from Marquette University Law School.

Derrick LiDerrick Li is a Managing Director in Baird’s Global Healthcare Investment Banking group, focusing on the BioPharma space. Derrick joined Baird in 2020 from Cellular Biomedicine Group, a NASDAQ-listed, U.S.-domiciled biotechnology company based in China that focuses on cell and gene therapies, where he served as Head of Strategy and Investor Relations. Prior to Cellular Biomedicine, he was a Managing Director and led the Healthcare Advisory practice at B. Riley FBR. He also spent four years as a Partner and Director at Pharma Partners USA LLC (TPP Healthcare), a boutique advisory firm that specializes in cross-border deal flow between innovative companies from the United States and China’s premier healthcare institutions. Derrick began his career as an Equity Research Analyst at The Royce Funds, a subsidiary of Legg Mason. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in accounting and business administration from Villanova University.

Prior to joining Baird, Ryan evaluated, structured and negotiated strategic partnerships, investments and acquisitions at Abraxis BioScience, a biopharmaceutical company. Before Abraxis, Ryan spent over 10 years in the Healthcare Investment Banking Groups at Wachovia and CIBC World Markets, and helped establish the West Coast Healthcare Investment Banking office for Wachovia. Ryan has completed over 80 transactions for life science companies, including public and private equity financings, leveraged finance transactions and buy side, sell side and partnership assignments. Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.

Andrew NicholsonAndrew Nicholson is a Managing Director in Baird’s Global Healthcare Investment Banking team. Based in London, he leads Baird’s European Healthcare Investment Banking coverage.

Andrew joined Baird in 2020 from KPMG where he spent 14 years working in leadership M&A roles, including UK Head of Healthcare M&A and UK Head of M&A. He founded KPMG’s Healthcare M&A team in 2006 and continues to advise leading healthcare companies. Before KPMG, Andrew held a corporate finance role at Rothschild. He also served as Corporate Development Director at Robinia, a Bridgepoint-backed company that cares for adults with learning disabilities and has set up and sold his own elderly care business. Andrew was recognized by HealthInvestor as “The Most Influential M&A Advisor” in 2012. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the University of Bristol.

Jason Porter Jason Porter is a Managing Director in Baird's Healthcare investment banking practice, focusing on physician and alternate site healthcare services. Prior to joining Baird, Jason was with Deloitte Corporate Finance LLC (Deloitte) where he was a Managing Director in its healthcare M&A practice. He previously served as a senior healthcare banker at Deloitte, joining the firm following its acquisition of McColl Partners, LLC. Prior to his investment banking roles, Jason worked in public accounting serving privately-held business in a variety of industries. He earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in accounting from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington, as well as an M.B.A. from the University of Miami School of Business Administration.

Cameron RediferCameron Redifer joined Baird in 2012 and is a Director in the Global Healthcare Group. Prior to joining Baird, Cameron practiced finance law at Ashurst LLP in London. Cameron received his MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his B.A. from Yale University, where he graduated cum laude. He also holds an LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School and a Graduate Diploma in Law from Nottingham Law School.

James Weck is a Managing Director at Baird in the Chicago office. He is a Senior Member of Baird’s Global Healthcare Group and its M&A Fairness Opinion Committee. Since joining Baird in 2007, he has participated in over 45 completed mergers and acquisitions and corporate financing transactions. James has extensive experience leading public and private company transactions within the healthcare IT & services vertical. Prior to joining Baird, James was a member of the Financial Restructuring Group at Houlihan Lokey. James received a B.B.A. with high honors in finance from the University of Georgia.
