Curtis joined Baird in 2010. Previously, he had been with A.G. Edwards since 1995 and joined Wachovia Securities upon its acquisition of A.G. Edwards in October 2007 and Wells Fargo Securities upon its acquisition of Wachovia in 2008. During his tenure at A.G. Edwards, Curtis co-founded the firm's Oil & Gas Investment Banking practice, helping to grow it into one of the most active on Wall Street in terms of both transactions managed and dollars raised. He primarily focuses on providing capital raising and financial advisory services to E&P companies and master limited partnerships (MLPs).
Prior to joining A.G. Edwards, Curtis worked in the corporate finance departments of both Lehman Brothers and Salomon Brothers. Curtis holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, with concentrations in finance, accounting and economics, and a BS degree in finance from Indiana University.

Frank joined Baird in 2010. Previously, he had been with Wells Fargo Securities as a Managing Director since its December 2008 acquisition of Wachovia Securities. Frank had joined Wachovia in 2008 upon its merger with A.G. Edwards. At A.G. Edwards he was Managing Director and co-head of Energy Investment Banking. Frank joined A.G. Edwards in 1997. He has been involved as the lead energy banker on a broad range of equity, debt and advisory transactions for master limited partnership (MLP) and exploration and production (E&P) companies. He also serves on the Board of the National Association of Publicly Traded Partnerships in Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining A.G. Edwards, Frank was Vice President, Corporate Finance of American Exploration Company, a publicly held independent oil and gas company based in Houston, Texas. Frank received a BA degree in Economics from the University of Vermont.
Nick Alfermann joined Baird’s Energy Investment Banking team in July 2010 and has 10 years of investment banking and capital markets experience. Previously, Nick had been with Highland Capital Management, a hedge fund and asset manager in Dallas, TX, where he helped manage a $2 billion portfolio of public and private energy investments, spanning the entire capital structure. Prior to Highland, Nick worked as an investment banker in the energy group at A.G. Edwards where he focused primarily on capital raising and financial advisory services to E&P companies and master limited partnerships (MLPs). Nick received a BBA degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
Chamila Ariyachandra is a Director with Baird’s Oilfield Services Investment Banking team based in Houston. Prior to joining Baird, Chamila was at PwC where he was a Director in the firm’s investment banking practice and prior to that he was a Vice President at J.P. Morgan Securities, where he also focused on Oilfield Services. During his Investment Banking tenure he has executed +$25bn of M&A transactions and a further +$30bn of equity and debt capital raising transactions for large-cap and middle market clients across the various sub-sectors within Oil & Gas. Prior to his career in Investment Banking, Chamila spent eight years with Maxim Integrated Products focused on SemiConductor design and development. Chamila earned his MBA (Hons) from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University.

Gregg Byers is a Managing Director and co-head of Baird’s Oilfield Services Investment Banking team based in Houston. Gregg came to Baird from PwC Corporate Finance where he was the Co-Head of the Houston office and led the firm’s Oilfield Services Investment Banking practice. Prior to PwC he was at J.P. Morgan where he served as the head of North American Oilfield Services Investment Banking Coverage and M&A. During his Investment Banking tenure he has executed +$25bn of M&A transactions and a further +$30bn of equity and debt capital raising transactions for middle market and large-cap clients across various segments within the Oilfield Services and Diversified Industrials sectors. Gregg earned his MBA in Finance, Accounting and International Business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds a B.A. in Economics from St. Lawrence University.

Kjell Lundal joined Robert W. Baird’s Energy Investment Banking team in April 2010. Kjell has more than 12 years of investment banking and private equity experience and has worked with clients across the energy, consumer products, technology, finance, healthcare and real estate sectors. Prior to joining Baird, Kjell was a Vice President in National City’s Investment Banking group, where he advised private and public companies on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising transactions. Prior to joining National City, Kjell worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at A.G. Edwards, where he worked with middle market companies in providing a range of strategic advisory services, including sell-side and buy-side advisory, fairness opinions and strategic alternatives assessments. Kjell also spent time in A.G. Edwards’ Private Equity Group and assisted the origination and evaluation of investment opportunities for the company’s private equity funds. Prior to joining A.G. Edwards, Kjell spent over five years with Monsanto Company, where he held roles in both financial and strategic capacities. Kjell holds an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a B.S. in Accounting from Washington University in St. Louis.
