Baird Analysts Receive Top Marks in 2016

Thomson Reuters Recognizes 14 Baird Equity Research Analysts for Outstanding Performance

June 2016

For the 15th consecutive year, Baird’s equity research analysts were recognized among the nation’s best in the 2016 Thomson Reuters Analyst Awards. The Thomson Reuters Analyst Awards (formerly known as the StarMine Awards) assessed the performance of analysts’ recommendations in 2015 as well as the accuracy of their earnings estimates from April 1, 2015, to March 31, 2016.

To Jon Langenfeld, Head of Global Equities and Director of Equity Research, these accolades speak to the emphasis Baird puts on providing top quality, actionable research. “To be recognized as an industry leader in equity research for 15 consecutive years is a true testament to the value Baird provides its equity capital markets clients. I couldn’t be prouder or more appreciative of our research teams’ hard work and dedication.”

The Thomson Reuters Analyst Awards are the second group of recent third-party honors for Baird’s Institutional Equities & Research team. In mid-May, small- and mid-cap fund managers awarded Baird’s institutional equities platform top rankings in Greenwich Associates’ annual survey. The firm was recognized as the No. 1 overall “important small-/mid-cap research advisory firm” and earned No. 1 rankings in six additional survey categories for research, sales and corporate access expertise.
