HOUSTON, Feb. 2, 2015 – Baird announced today that it has added a father-son financial advisor team in its Houston-Memorial City wealth management office. The team, which includes Financial Advisors Patrick Cook, Vice President, and Nathan Cook, Senior Vice President, brings more than 35 years of combined industry experience to Baird.
Patrick Cook joins Baird from UBS Financial Services, where he started his career as a financial advisor in 1987. Patrick holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin. Highly active in his community, he is on the Advisory Council of the Houston Center for Photography, is the General Secretary of the Houston Scottish Rite, is Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee for the Grand Lodge of Texas and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Patrick lives in Houston with his wife Susan. They have three adult children and five grandsons.
Nathan Cook also joins from UBS, where he had been a financial advisor since 2006. He holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Texas at Austin and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in theological studies at Houston Baptist University. Nathan is an active member of his church, where he serves as a teacher. He lives in Katy, Texas, with his wife Heather and their three sons.
