Baird Capital’s Marx discusses life sciences, B2B tech investments with Houston Business Journal
Houston Business Journal recently interviewed Venture Partner Tim Marx about Baird Capital's focus on life sciences technology companies and business-to-business tech in Houston. They also talked about Baird Capital’s partnership with Texas Medical Center (TMC), the first of its kind for the world's largest medical center.
Marx on Baird Capital playing "the long game" in Houston: "Of course, we have [limited partners], and you’re going to have to see some successes," Marx said. "But really, the idea is that [the investments] will come to bear over a three- to five- to 10-year period of time, versus a 'Hurry up and get something done because you're on the clock.'"
