Baird Capital Invests in Nirvana Asia Ltd.

One of Asia's Largest Integrated Bereavement Care Providers

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Feb. 22, 2018 – Baird Capital announced today that it has acquired an indirect interest in Nirvana Asia Ltd via a vehicle controlled by Tan Sri Kong, Founder, Managing Director and CEO of Nirvana. Nirvana is one of the largest funeral and bereavement care provider in Asia, providing premium quality burial plots, niches, tomb design and construction services. 

Nirvana operates 14 cemeteries, 14 columbarium facilities, two funeral homes and six on-site crematoria, in six countries – Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and China. Nirvana is a market leader in Malaysia and Singapore, and one of the few private cemetery operators in Indonesia, its market position and strong reputation is a result of offering high quality and customizable products and services.
