Baird Adds Veteran Financial Advisor Robert Gorman, Moves Into New Columbus Office

Columbus, Ohio, May 26, 2015Baird, an international, employee-owned wealth management, capital markets, private equity and asset management firm announced today that it has added Robert Gorman as Director, Financial Advisor, in its Columbus, Ohio, wealth management office. The office, previously located at 10 West Broad Street, has recently moved to a new location in the Easton Gateway shopping district at 4215 Worth Avenue.

Gorman joins Baird from Morgan Stanley, where he had been a financial advisor since 1990. Prior to that, he was with the former brokerage firm Prudential-Bache Securities, where he began his career in the financial services industry in 1982. Gorman holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and business from Indiana University Bloomington and an MBA in management and marketing strategy from Harvard Business School. Committed to giving back, he serves on the board of the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Legal and Professional Advisory Committee of the Columbus Foundation. Gorman currently resides in New Albany, Ohio, with his wife Linda.
