MADISON, Wis. – Jan. 13, 2016 – Baird, an international, employee-owned wealth management, capital markets, private equity and asset management firm, announced today that James A. Hodge and Christopher M. Yesbeck have been named Branch Managers of the firm’s two Madison wealth management offices. Hodge will serve as Director, Branch Manager of the downtown office located at One South Pinckney Street, and Yesbeck will serve as Senior Vice President, Branch Manager of the Madison West office located at 8000 Excelsior Drive. Both will continue to serve clients as financial advisors in their new roles.
Tom Carroll, who previously managed the downtown office, and Mike Witt, who previously managed the Madison West office, remain with Baird and will continue to serve clients as financial advisors in their respective offices.

Baird is the founding partner of the Wealth Management and Financial Planning track in the Finance Department of the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which is a course of study that prepares undergraduate business majors for careers in wealth management. In addition, the firm is a primary sponsor of the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Varsity Band’s annual spring concert. Baird associates in Madison volunteer their time by participating in the firm’s annual Baird Gives Back Week and supporting a variety of non-profit organizations including the United Way of Dane County, Center for Families, Rotary International and more.
Hodge, who joined Baird in 1996, was previously the Associate Branch Manager of Baird’s Milwaukee wealth management office. His commitment to exemplary client service was recognized in 2007 when he was awarded Baird’s 2007 G. Frederick Kasten, Jr. Award. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Arizona State University with additional undergraduate studies in Madrid, Spain, and also completed Baird’s Investment Consultant Program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, which is a five-day course of study led by Baird and other industry firms that focuses on the needs of clients going through major life transitions (please contact Baird Public Relations for more information). Hodge is an active volunteer with Junior Achievement and the American Heart Association. Hodge lives in La Prairie Township with his wife Sarah and their three children, and is also a 5th generation family-farm owner.
Yesbeck, CFP®, joined Baird in 2009. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and completed Baird’s Investment Consultant Program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Prior to beginning a career in financial services in 2001, Yesbeck served in the United States Marine Corps from 1988 to 1995, and worked in law enforcement in the City of Milwaukee. He received a Bachelor’s of Business in Accounting, with a minor in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Lubar School of Business. Active in the community, Yesbeck serves as a member and past president of the Madison South Rotary Club, and actively volunteers with The First Tee of South Central Wisconsin. He lives in the Madison area with his wife Nikki and their four children.
