Addition comes as Baird continues to expand its teams and services in the Twin Cities; new St. Paul office to open at end of July


Minnetonka, Minn. – July 24, 2019 Baird an employee-owned, international wealth management, asset management, investment banking/capital markets and private equity firm, today announced that The Tearse Wright Group has joined the firm as part of Baird’s wealth management office in Minnetonka, Minn. The team includes Hal Tearse, Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor; and Nicole Wright, Financial Advisor; and Client Specialist Joe LaRue.

Tearse brings more than 40 years of industry experience to Baird. He earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of Minnesota and continued his education through several advanced training programs and seminars. Tearse spent eight years on the board of directors for Minnesota Hockey as coach in chief and served three years at USA Hockey on the finance, audit and investment committee. He is also a member of the FINRA Board of Arbitrators.

Wright joins Baird with eight years of experience in the financial services industry. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communications. Wright is on the Young Professionals of Minneapolis Board and serves as the co-chair of the membership committee of TeamWomen, a local organization that is dedicated to inspiring, encouraging and supporting women in reaching their full potential. In 2018, Wright was named a Twin Cities Finest Honoree, a program that recognizes 25 of the city’s most accomplished men and women annually.

This addition to Baird’s Minnetonka branch comes as the firm is continuing to deepen its ties to the Twin Cities. On July 22, the firm officially unveiled its newest office in St. Paul within Wells Fargo Place (30 E 7th Street).
