About
Northcentral University (“NCU” or the “University”), a portfolio company of Rockbridge Growth Equity, LLC (“Rockbridge”), was recently acquired by National University System (“National” or the “System”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.Founded in 1996, NCU is a regionally accredited, online graduate-focused university serving professionals globally. With no physical residency requirements, courses are taught one-to-one by an NCU professor with a doctoral degree. NCU offers primarily doctoral and master's degrees in business, education, psychology, marriage and family therapy, technology, and health sciences. The University is accredited by WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). NCU is headquartered San Diego, California.
Rockbridge invests in financial and business services, consumer-direct marketing, and sports, media & entertainment industries. Rockbridge owns equity stakes in Protect America, Connect America, RapidAdvance, Gas Station TV, ABUV Media and Robb Report, and is affiliated with other leading businesses in its target sectors including Quicken Loans, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Title Source and Fathead.
