Parsons acquisition of Polaris Alpha, a portfolio company of ACP

Summary

Parsons Corporation (“Parsons”) has agreed to acquire Polaris Alpha (“Polaris Alpha” or the “Company”), a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners (“ACP”). The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.

Parsons’s acquisition of Polaris Alpha illustrates the following themes in Government Services M&A: renewed market interest in defense and intel from diversified commercial firms; market priority for companies of scale with differentiated capabilities in cyber, electronic warfare and space situational awareness; and successful execution of buy and build private equity strategies.
