Founders Brewing Co. (“Founders” or the “Company”), recently completed a partnership with Mahou San Miguel (“Mahou”), who joined as a minority investor with a 30% ownership stake in the Company. The partnership will help Founders grow through Mahou’s international distribution network to access the emerging craft beer community around the world. Founders will remain Founders, with continuity in their recipes, processes, facility and staff.

Founders Brewing Co. is a craft beer brewer that produces complex, in-your-face ales, with huge aromatics and tons of flavor. The Company ranks among the top 30 largest craft breweries in the United States and is one of the fastest growing brewers in the country. Founders was established in 1997 and is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Mahou San Miguel has been Spain’s leading brewing company for 125 years. Mahou has an extensive national and international beer portfolio, eight brewing centers (seven in Spain and one in India) and a team of more than 2,500 employees. Mahou was founded in 1890 and is headquartered in Madrid, Spain.
