Brian Doyal is Co-Head of Baird’s Global Investment Banking business where he jointly oversees the firm’s global corporate finance and M&A activities. In addition, Brian is Head of Baird’s Healthcare Investment Banking team and is a member of Baird’s Investment Banking Management Committee. Previously, Brian was the Head of Services and Healthcare Investment Banking at Baird, covering a wide range of services sectors, including BPO, Customer Care, Human Capital, Information and Professional Services.

Before joining Baird in 2004, Brian worked 14 years at Credit Suisse First Boston where he was co-head of the Global Services group. From 1992 to 1994, Brian worked for the Corporate Finance group of General Electric Capital Corporation, where he was responsible for making equity investments and loans to highly leveraged companies.

Brian received a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Brian McDonagh is Co-Head of Baird’s Global Investment Banking business where he jointly oversees the firm’s global corporate finance and Mergers & Acquisitions activities. In addition, Brian is Co-Head of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice, playing a senior role on many transactions involving Baird's key banking clients. He is Chairperson of the Baird's Fairness Opinion Committee.

Brian has over 25 years of experience in the global M&A market, through which he has developed extensive experience in originating and executing a broad range of strategic transactions for publicly traded, sponsor-owned and privately owned middle market companies across a wide variety of industries.

Prior to joining Baird in 2008, Brian spent almost 13 years at Wachovia Securities in Charlotte, NC, serving as Head of the Industrial Growth M&A Group and a member of the firm's Fairness Opinion Committee. He also spent over a decade in New York in the Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group of a predecessor firm to JPMorgan Chase, ultimately leading the origination and execution of domestic and cross-border advisory transactions with the firm's key industrial clients in his role as Co-Head of the Global Industrial M&A effort.

Brian received his undergraduate degree from Haverford College.

Justin is a Managing Director in Baird's Industrial Group and has coverage responsibility for the global packaging industry. Justin’s investment banking experience covers a range of products, including mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, high yield debt and leveraged lending. Justin has advised on more than 75 transactions involving a variety of publicly traded, sponsor-owned and privately owned companies within a number of different industries, including more than 40 transactions totaling over $10 billion in transaction value in the packaging sector.

Prior to joining Baird in 2003, Justin was with Deutsche Bank Securities for nearly five years where he worked on numerous M&A and financing transactions primarily in the industrial sector. He received his MBA degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and graduated with a BA degree in Economics from Haverford College.

Dan joined Baird in 2004 and is a Managing Director in the Technology & Services Group. Prior to joining Baird, he spent six years in valuation advisory and strategy consulting at A.T. Kearney and McKinsey & Co. covering the retail and consumer services sectors. Previously, he worked for a real estate and transaction advisory firm providing financial structuring and advisory services. Dan received his MBA degree from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BBA with highest distinction in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Michigan Business School.

Nick Alfermann joined Baird’s Energy Investment Banking team in July 2010 and has 10 years of investment banking and capital markets experience. Previously, Nick had been with Highland Capital Management, a hedge fund and asset manager in Dallas, TX, where he helped manage a $2 billion portfolio of public and private energy investments, spanning the entire capital structure. Prior to Highland, Nick worked as an investment banker in the energy group at A.G. Edwards where he focused primarily on capital raising and financial advisory services to E&P companies and master limited partnerships (MLPs). Nick received a BBA degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Notre Dame.

Before joining KeyBanc, Glen spent time at Duff and Phelps and with Brown Gibbons and Lang (BGL), where he was a Managing Director and Principal responsible for heading up the firm's Food & Beverage investment banking practice. Prior to BGL, Glen spent 16 years at Bank of Montreal Harris Bank, where in his last role he was as a Managing Director and Head of the Diversified Food Group within Bank of Montreal's Investment Banking Group. Kris Garin joined Baird in 2011 as an Associate in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group based in Washington, DC. Prior to Baird, Kris was a successful business journalist. In addition to his work for national publications and appearances on NPR, CNN, and other prominent media outlets, Kris has published two nonfiction books including national bestseller Win Forever, co-authored with Pete Carroll. Kris earned an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Georgetown University, and served in the Royal Norwegian Navy. Steven joined Baird in 2011 from FBR Capital Markets, where he was Global Head of Real Estate Investment Banking. Steve has in excess of 20 years of investment banking experience. During that time, he has overseen a variety of transactions including numerous initial public offerings, 144A private placements, perpetual preferred offerings, corporate bond and convert offerings, merger and acquisition advisories, asset-level joint ventures, private placements and general financial advisory. Curtis joined Baird in 2010. Previously, he had been with A.G. Edwards since 1995 and joined Wachovia Securities upon its acquisition of A.G. Edwards in October 2007 and Wells Fargo Securities upon its acquisition of Wachovia in 2008. During his tenure at A.G. Edwards, Curtis co-founded the firm's Oil & Gas Investment Banking practice, helping to grow it into one of the most active on Wall Street in terms of both transactions managed and dollars raised. He primarily focuses on providing capital raising and financial advisory services to E&P companies and master limited partnerships (MLPs).

Prior to joining A.G. Edwards, Curtis worked in the corporate finance departments of both Lehman Brothers and Salomon Brothers. Curtis holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, with concentrations in finance, accounting and economics, and a BS degree in finance from Indiana University.

Macie House joined Baird in 2017. She is a member of the Equity Capital Markets team and leads the firm’s equity origination efforts in the Technology & Services sector. Macie comes to Baird with 25 years of investment banking and corporate development experience. The bulk of her career was spent at Pacific Crest Securities where she was most recently a Principal and Director in the equity capital markets division of the firm’s investment banking business. In this role, she was directly responsible for originating and executing public and private offerings within Software (SaaS), Security, Internet and IoT, Industrial Technology, Consumer and Communication sectors. During her 20-plus years with Pacific Crest, she participated in underwriting over 100 public offerings, raising over $60B in proceeds. In his 20+ years at Baird, Peter has held several leadership positions, including Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets, Chairman of the Investment Banking and firm-wide Recruiting Committees, member of the Investment Committee of the Baird Venture Fund and a Director of the Baird Foundation. He has built and led several investment banking industry teams and has extensive experience in originating and executing mergers, acquisitions and equity transactions across a wide range of industries. He is a member of the Investment Banking Management Committee and Chairman of the Equity Capital Markets Committee.

Prior to joining Baird in 1992, Peter was a Director of Investments for The Equitable and on the Executive Staff of Governor Tommy Thompson. Peter received his BBA and MS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a member of the University of Wisconsin Foundation Board of Directors.

Paul joined Baird in 1995 and serves as the Vice Chairman of Global Investment Banking. For 20 years, Paul headed the Global Industrial Investment Banking Group at Baird. Paul has more than 30 years of Investment Banking experience and has been involved in a wide variety of financing and M&A transactions. Before joining Baird, he was a Partner at Vector Securities International. Earlier, he was a Senior Vice President in the Investment Banking group at Kidder, Peabody & Co. in Chicago. He received an MBA with distinction from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and his JD cum laude from Northwestern’s School of Law. He earned his undergraduate degree with high honors from the University of Notre Dame.

Jeff joined Baird in 2011 as a Managing Director in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group based in McLean, Virginia. His primary areas of focus are equity and M&A opportunities in the office, industrial and health care related real estate space. With more than 20 years in the industry, Jeff has extensive experience including numerous initial public offerings, perpetual preferred offerings, corporate bond and convert offerings, merger and acquisition advisories, asset-level joint ventures, private placements and general financial advisory.

Prior to Baird, Jeff was President of Ridgeway Capital LLC. He also served as Chief Financial Officer of Brandywine Realty Trust and, prior to that, was the Head of the REIT practice at Legg Mason Wood Walker.

Jeff earned a BS in systems engineering from the University of Virginia and a MBA from The College of William & Mary.

Most recently, he spent over 10 years focused on the software sector at Pacific Crest Securities, the tech division of KeyBanc Capital Markets. In this role, Craig worked on a broad range of M&A advisory, private placement and public offering transactions and played a key role in building the firm’s software practice. Earlier in his career, Craig worked in a corporate development role at Seagate Technology, a data storage company, and held investment banking positions at UBS and Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Chase has 23 years of total experience, including 18 years as an advisor to technology businesses and five years as CEO of a growth company. Prior to joining Baird, Chase was a partner and Managing Director with Signal Hill Capital Group, a boutique investment bank focused on growth stage IT companies. Prior to that, Chase was CEO of Atlantis LLC, a consumer home services company that he took from start-up to operations in eight states before successfully exiting the business.

Previously, Chase was the senior east coast software banker with Bear, Stearns in New York, and also served in the media and telecom investment banking group at Bank of America Securities. Chase began his career as a corporate and M&A attorney with the leading law firms of DLA Piper and Hogan Lovells. Chase received a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and a JD cum laude from Harvard Law School.

Judith joined the Business Services Investment Banking team after a distinguished 20-plus-year career as a research analyst largely focused on covering Human Capital Services for Baird. Judith pioneered the coverage of the Staffing Industry with the first comprehensive industry report in 1986 and was voted a member of the First Team of the All-America Research Team in the Business Services/Staffing category of Institutional Investor Magazine in 1999.

Other honors included recognition by Reuters in its Mid-to-Smaller Company Research survey as the second-highest ranking analyst for Services (Commercial & Consumer) in 1998. Before joining Baird in 1980, Judith taught at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., and currently serves on the board of the Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Milwaukee.

She earned a BA from Stanford University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa; an MS in Italian Literature from the Catholic University of America; and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with Beta Gamma Sigma honors.

Prior to joining Baird in 2008, he served as Senior Managing Director in the Financial Sponsor Group at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc.
