Brian Doyal is Co-Head of Baird’s Global Investment Banking business where he jointly oversees the firm’s global corporate finance and M&A activities. In addition, Brian is Head of Baird’s Healthcare Investment Banking team and is a member of Baird’s Investment Banking Management Committee. Previously, Brian was the Head of Services and Healthcare Investment Banking at Baird, covering a wide range of services sectors, including BPO, Customer Care, Human Capital, Information and Professional Services.
Before joining Baird in 2004, Brian worked 14 years at Credit Suisse First Boston where he was co-head of the Global Services group. From 1992 to 1994, Brian worked for the Corporate Finance group of General Electric Capital Corporation, where he was responsible for making equity investments and loans to highly leveraged companies.
Brian received a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Robert Andrews is a Managing Director in Baird's Healthcare investment banking practice. Rob joined Baird in 2013 and has over 20 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Baird, Rob was with CIT Group where he was Managing Director and led the firm's investment banking and lending activities in the medical device sector. Prior to CIT, Rob held investment banking positions at Stout Risius Ross Advisors, Houlihan Lokey, Lazard and ABN AMRO. Rob received his bachelor's degree from Boston College and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Benjamin A. Brown

Ben Brown is a member of Baird’s Healthcare Services Investment Banking team. Since joining Baird in 2005, Ben has executed M&A and equity transactions for healthcare clients across several verticals, including healthcare IT, payer & provider services and pharma services. In addition, Ben has extensive experience working with clients in the consulting and human capital sectors. Prior to joining Baird, Ben was a member of Thomas Weisel Partners’ Technology Investment Banking Group in San Francisco, where he focused on clients in the software industry. Before joining TWP, Ben worked as an Associate at The Halifax Group, a middle-market private equity fund. Prior to his time in the private equity industry, Ben was an Associate at Growth Capital Partners, a boutique investment bank, and began his career as an Analyst with Prudential Capital Group. Ben received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.B.A. in Finance, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University.

Ryan Daws is a Managing Director in Baird’s Global Healthcare Investment Banking Group where he focuses on the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sectors. Ryan joined Baird in 2017, with nearly 20 years of healthcare experience. Prior to Baird, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Concert Pharmaceuticals, where he was an integral part of finance, business development and investor relations efforts. Prior to that, he was a healthcare investment banker with Stifel, and before that, Cowen.Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and organizational management, as well as an International MBA from the University of South Carolina.

Vincenzo is Managing Director in Baird’s European Investment Banking group in London where he leads the firm’s European Healthcare Investment Banking practice. He has led several high profile deals in the med-tech, pharma and healthcare services spaces. Vincenzo joined Baird in 2015 from DC Advisory where he was Co-Head of UK Healthcare Investment Banking. Before DC Advisory, he was Vice President of Healthcare Investment Banking at RBS/ABN AMRO Corporate Finance and an Associate at Vitale & Associati in Milan. He earned a Masters in Finance from the London Business School, a Masters in International Finance and Management from the University of Business Administration, Vienna and a Bachelor degree from the University of Economics, Naples.

Manish Gupta is a member of Baird’s Healthcare investment banking team with over ten years of experience in the sector. Since joining Baird in 2008, Manish has executed on over thirty M&A and equity transactions across several verticals within healthcare including medical products, biotech, pharma, tools and diagnostics. Prior to joining Baird, Manish worked as a Marketing Manager with the Continence care division of Hollister Inc. and had the responsibility of new business development and innovation management. Prior to Hollister, Manish worked with International Paper Company in R&D role. Manish received an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, an M.S. from The Ohio State University and a B. Tech from Indian Institute of Technology.
Lance R. Lange

Lance Lange is a Managing Director in Baird’s Equity Capital Markets group and leads the firm’s effort to advise healthcare clients on all aspects of the capital raising process. He is responsible for the origination and execution of all equity transactions, including bought, publicly marketed and confidentially marketed transactions. Prior to his current role, he led the equity capital markets practice for the industrials sector. He joined Baird from Lazard Frères & Co. where he was Head of Industrials for ECM and was responsible for capital markets origination, execution and advisory for U.S. listed companies. Lance is a member of Baird’s Capital Commitments Committee; and, over the course of his career, has completed hundreds of financings and advisory assignments for clients in the healthcare, industrial and business services sectors. Lance began his career at Merrill Lynch. He received a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a J.D. from Marquette University Law School.

Ryan joined Baird in 2009 as a Vice President in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group. Prior to joining Baird, Ryan evaluated, structured and negotiated strategic partnerships, investments and acquisitions at Abraxis BioScience, a biopharmaceutical company. Before Abraxis, Ryan spent over 10 years in the Healthcare Investment Banking Groups at Wachovia and CIBC World Markets, and helped establish the West Coast Healthcare Investment Banking office for Wachovia. Ryan has completed over 80 transactions for life science companies, including public and private equity financings, leveraged finance transactions and buy side, sell side and partnership assignments. Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.

Nick Mehta joined Baird in January 2015 as a member of Baird’s Healthcare Investment Banking Group. He focuses on Healthcare Services, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising transactions. Prior to joining Baird, Nick was a Vice President in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Credit Suisse. While at Credit Suisse, Nick advised both publicly-traded and privately-held healthcare services clients on mergers and acquisitions and public debt and equity offerings. Nick received an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

David Schechner is a Managing Director and part of Baird’s Pharmaceutical Services and Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals Groups. Prior to joining Baird, David was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, Head of Corporate Finance at Needham & Company and Global Head of Life Sciences at Canaccord Genuity. David has represented large pharmaceutical and telecommunications companies in M&A transactions including NYNEX, Bell Atlantic, LIN Broadcasting, Wyeth, Warner Lambert and Pharmacia. Over the past eight years, David has completed over 95 M&A and equity transactions. David received a BA in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Brett is a senior member of Baird’s Global Healthcare team, covering healthcare facilities and alternate site providers, with a focus on multi-site physician and other provider groups, behavioral health and post-acute care. Brett joined Baird in 2018 from BMO Capital Markets where he served as Managing Director, responsible for the firm’s healthcare M&A practice. Prior to BMO, he served as CFO of a private specialty pharmaceutical company and held healthcare and M&A related investment banking positions at Piper Jaffray, Cowen, PaineWebber and Kidder, Peabody & Co. Brett earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University as well as an MBA from Columbia Business School at Columbia University.

Bill Suddath is a Managing Director and part of the Healthcare Services Investment Banking team. In his career, Bill has worked with a range of healthcare clients in the healthcare IT, contract research, pharmaceutical services & facility-based services sectors, and he brings a diversity of merger & acquisitions as well as private and public capital markets experience. Prior to joining Baird, he was a Managing Director in the healthcare investment banking group at JMP Securities. In addition, he previously worked as a Vice President at JP Morgan, where he most recently managed the firm's Boston investment banking practice and co-managed the firm's venture capital coverage effort. Before joining JP Morgan, he was a member of SunTrust Robinson-Humphrey's healthcare investment banking group, and began his investment banking career as an Associate at Hambrecht & Quist in their healthcare investment banking group. Bill graduated cum laude from Georgetown University.

James Weck joined Baird in 2007. James, a member of the Healthcare Services team, provides analytical support on equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions and other financial advisory services. Prior to joining Baird, James was a financial analyst in the Financial Restructuring Group at Houlihan Lokey. James received a B.B.A. with high honors in finance from the University of Georgia.
