Search Tips

Advanced Search Button    Clicking on the Advanced Search button lets you search for reports by Rating, Suitability, Analyst or Sector.

Capitalization   Searches performed on our site are not case sensitive. For example, entering Financial Advisor or FiNaNcIaL advisor will return the same results.

Common Words   Common words such as “the” and “where” are ignored by the search engine because they have a tendency to slow down the search without improving the results.

Headline Text Search   Enter a company name, report name or a word(s) that may appear in the Headline of a report for which you are searching.

Inclusion of a Word   Another way to include a specific word in your search is to include a “+” sign in front of it. An example would be investment +banking. Be sure to include a space before the “+” sign.

Negative Terms   If you want to exclude a term from your search, for instance if it has more than one meaning or you do not want common words attached, include a minus sign “-” immediately in front of your term. An example would be investment-banking. Be sure to include a space before the minus sign “-.”

Phrase Searches   If you want to search by a complete phrase such as “Baird Financial Advisor”, enclose the words in quotation marks. Words entered in quotations will appear together in all search results exactly as you entered them.

Search Button   Click on the Search button to initiate a search for reports based on the criteria you selected.
