15. What type of security do you employ?
Any time you use the Quicken download process and provide personal information (such as an account number or password), it's encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. SSL protects information as it crosses the Internet. To support this technology, you need an SSL-capable browser. Baird recommends using a strong encryption, 128-bit browser like Netscape Navigator 6.0 or higher or Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher. These browsers will activate SSL automatically whenever you use the Quicken download. The 128-bit encryption is the most recent and secure form of Internet data encryption available.
