Director of Equity Research
Jon Langenfeld is Head of Global Equities and Director of Equity Research for Baird, with responsibilities for the publishing equity analysts across Baird’s coverage universe, which includes Business Services, Consumer, Energy, Financials, Healthcare, Industrial, Real Estate and Technology. Jon previously served as the Associate Director of Research and Senior Analyst covering Transportation/Logistics.
Jon is a member of Baird’s Executive Committee and Diversity Steering Committee. He is also a member of the board of Partners Advancing Values in Education (PAVE). Prior to joining Baird in 2000, Jon was a senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, providing supply chain consulting services. Jon graduated cum laude with a BS in mechanical engineering and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Dan Renouard, CFA

Head of U.S. Sales and Co-Head of Global Trading
Dan Renouard is Baird’s Chief Operating Officer of Global Equities, Head of U.S. Sales and Co-Head of Global Trading. Prior to joining the Institutional Equities group, Dan spent 10 years in equity research in a variety of roles, including Associate Director of Research, Head of Technology Research and Senior Analyst covering Computer Hardware.
Prior to joining Baird in 1998, Dan spent four years at Continental Airlines, where he held a variety of management positions, most recently director of strategic planning. He is a member of the board of the Milwaukee Public Library Foundation and Betty Brinn Children’s Museum and also serves on the Finance Committee of the Interfaith Older Adult Programs organization. In addition, he is an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, where he teaches international investments. Dan earned a BS in mechanical engineering and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Notre Dame. He is a CFA charter holder.

Jim Herrick is Co-Head of Trading for Baird’s Institutional Equity Services group. He oversees Baird’s trading operations in Milwaukee, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco and Stamford and is focused on delivering value-added market color, research content and best execution to Baird’s institutional clients. He also focuses on building trusted relationships with Baird’s clients and actively covers accounts on the East Coast and in the Midwest.
Jim joined Baird in 1986 and has held leadership positions on the sales desk for the past 15 years. He is also a member of Baird’s Management Committee and is actively involved in all aspects of Baird’s equity trading operations. Jim earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Patrick Spencer leads Baird’s International Institutional Equity Office from London, overseeing sales for U.S. equities into Europe, Asia and Australia.
Prior to joining Baird in 2002, Patrick served as a managing director and member of the board of directors of JPMorgan International. He has more than 30 years of industry experience and has served as a manager and producer at a number of firms in London, including Hambrecht and Quist, Bear Stearns, County Nat West, Drexel Burnham, Phillips and Drew (now UBS) and Société Générale.

Amy Junker is Baird’s Associate Director of Research and leads Baird's Corporate Access team. Amy previously served as the Senior Analyst covering Education Services. Prior to joining Baird in 2003, Amy was a junior analyst at Lehman Brothers, a research associate at William Blair & Company and an associate instructor of mathematics at Indiana University. In 2007, StarMine ranked her among the top three for stock picking skills in Diversified Consumer Services. Amy received a BA in mathematics from Kalamazoo College and an MA in mathematics from Indiana University.
David Tarantino, CFA

Senior Research Analyst
David Tarantino is Baird’s senior analyst covering Restaurants as well as the Associate Director of Research. Prior to joining Baird in 2003, he held a variety of positions in Brand Management and Product Development at The Procter & Gamble Company.
David received a BS in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA with concentrations in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Craig Kennison, CFA

Senior Research Analyst
Craig Kennison is Baird’s Senior Analyst covering Consumer and Automotive Services as well as the Director of Research Operations. Prior to joining Baird in 1999, Craig worked in marketing and sales for the Eureka Company. In 2011, Craig was recognized among the “Best on the Street” by The Wall Street Journal in Leisure Goods & Services. Craig also has been recognized by StarMine for the accuracy of earnings estimates in the Automotive sector. He earned Baird’s G. Frederick Kasten Jr. Award for Quality, Integrity and Service in 2010 and is a United Way Tocqueville Society Member. Craig received a BA in economics, English and philosophy and an MBA in finance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he is an alumnus of the Applied Security Analysis Program.
Timothy Byrne, CFA
Director of Research, Private Wealth Managementicon: toggle
Tim Byrne is the Director of Research for Baird’s Private Wealth Management business, with responsibility for Baird’s outside money manager and mutual fund research, equity and fixed income securities research and portfolio consultation, financial and estate planning services, and practice management research.
Prior to joining Baird’s Private Wealth Management business, Tim was Baird’s Senior IT Services Analyst in equity research. Forbes recognized Tim in its Top Equity Analyst – Best Earnings Estimator list for his IT Services coverage in 2004, and he was a member of the Baird team that ranked first for IT Services research in the 2005 Greenwich Associates survey of Small/Mid-Cap Funds. Tim was at Mercer Management Consulting for nearly eight years before joining Baird. As a partner in Mercer’s strategy group, he focused on high-tech industries and helped launch Mercer’s digital strategy practice. Tim received an AB magna cum laude in chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association.
