Municipal Trading/Underwriting
Baird has seven senior traders and underwriters, with an average of more than 15 years experience, who are actively involved in negotiated and competitively bid syndicates. We price over 500 new issues annually. Our seasoned competitive syndicate bidding team leads a 12-member syndicate group, which has expanded our reach into more nationally based transactions.

Portfolio Strategies and Analytics
This group of seasoned professionals uses state-of-the-art systems to provide comprehensive trade and portfolio analysis for institutional clients across all sectors of fixed income. Analyses are extremely sophisticated and reporting is highly customized on a per-client basis. 

Public Finance
Our nationally recognized team of more than 60 Public Finance professionals works closely with clients to develop custom strategies tailored to meet their short- and long-term financing objectives. The combined efforts of our Public Finance and Fixed Income Sales and Trading teams have resulted in more than 2,500 new issues in the municipal sector since 2002.
