Jon A. Langenfeld, CFA
Managing Director
Head of Global Equities, Director of Equity Research

Jon Langenfeld is Head of Global Equities, Director of Equity Research for Robert W. Baird & Co., with responsibilities for the publishing equity analysts across Baird’s eight power alleys, comprising Business Services, Consumer, Energy, Financials, Healthcare, Industrial, Real Estate and Technology. Jon previously served as the Associate Director of Research and Senior Analyst covering Transportation/Logistics.

Prior to joining Baird in 2000, he was a senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, providing supply chain consulting services. Jon graduated cum laude with a BS in mechanical engineering and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Dan Renouard, CFA
Managing Director
Chief Operating Officer of Global Equities, Head of U.S Sales and Co-Head of Global Trading

Dan Renouard is the Chief Operating Officer of Global Equities, Head of U.S Sales and Co-Head of Global Trading. Prior to joining the Institutional Equities group, Dan spent 10 years in equity research in a variety of roles, including Associate Director of Research, Head of Technology Research, and Senior Analyst covering the Computer Hardware sector.

Before joining Baird in 1998, Dan spent four years at Continental Airlines, where he held a variety of management positions, most recently director of strategic planning. Dan is a member of the board of the Milwaukee Public Library Foundation and also on the Finance Committee of the Interfaith Older Adult Programs organization. He received a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from the University of Notre Dame and holds his CFA charter.

James H. Herrick
Managing Director
Director of Equity Sales Trading

Jim Herrick is Director of Sales Trading for Baird’s Institutional Equity Services group. Jim oversees Baird’s trading operations in Milwaukee, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco and Stamford, and is focused on delivering value-added market color, research content, and best execution to Baird’s institutional clients. He also focused on building trusted relationships with Baird’s clients and with actively covers accounts on the East Coast and Midwest.

Jim joined Baird in 1986 and has held leadership positions on the sales desk for the past fifteen years. He is also a member of the Management Committee and is actively involved in all aspects of Baird’s Equity Trading Operations. Jim earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

John T. Kennedy III
Managing Director
Associate Director of Institutional Sales

John Kennedy is Associate Director of Institutional Sales and Regional Director of the Boston Market for Baird’s Institutional Equity Services group. John’s responsibilities include providing sales coverage for several Baird institutional clients, managing Baird’s Boston Institutional Equity Services group, and working to drive revenue growth and market share gains across Baird’s U.S.-based Equity Sales team.

Prior to joining Baird in 2001, John spent 14 years in the financial services industry, most recently as Vice President in the M&A Group at Duff & Phelps, LLC. John earned a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters of Management from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Patrick Spencer
Managing Director
Director of International Equity Sales

Patrick Spencer leads Baird’s International Institutional Equity Office from London, overseeing sales for U.S. equities into Europe, Asia and Australia.

Prior to joining Baird in 2002, Patrick served as a Managing Director and member of the board of directors of JPMorgan International. With more than 30 years of industry experience, he also has served as a manager and producer at a number of firms in London, including Hambrecht and Quist, Bear Stearns, County Nat West, Drexel Burnham, Phillips and Drew (now UBS) and Societe Generale.

Brian Timmis
Managing Director
Associate Director of Institutional Sales

Brian Timmis is Associate Director of Institutional Sales and Co-Manager of the New York Institutional Sales Team. As Co-Director of Institutional Sales, Brian works closely with team leaders to develop and implement strategic initiatives profitably grow the Institutional Equity Services platform. This compliments his day to day responsibilities providing account relationship management and co-managing the New York sales team.

Before Joining Baird in 2001, Brian spent seven years at AT&T where he held several positions in sales and market management in AT&T’s Consumer Communications Services division. Brian is program liaison and mentor to the Marquette University Multi-cultural Business Organization. He earned his bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from Marquette University and his master’s degree in finance & management strategy from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
