		Ajay Thomas Managing Director Manager of Texas Public Finance Operations Ajay Thomas joined Baird in June 2012, bringing significant experience serving issuers throughout the southwestern United States with more than $12 billion in funding solutions. Ajay’s expertise covers various structuring solutions – fixed-rate, variable rate, synthetic structures and soft put bonds – across a broad range of issuers, including Texas state agencies, Texas independent school districts cities and counties. Prior to joining Baird, Ajay led public finance efforts in the Southwest Region for two different leading investment firms. He has a B.A. in Economics from Southwestern University, a master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard University and a law degree from the University of Texas. Top

		John Hall Director John Hall joined Baird as an investment banker in June 2012, bringing more than 10 years of unique and comprehensive experience in public finance as a bond attorney, investment banker, financial advisor and retail broker. John has worked on more than $3 billion of debt for a broad array of issuers, including city, county and state agencies, school districts and ISDs, higher education, health care and transportation. Prior to joining Baird, he was a public finance banker at a pair of leading investment firms; Before that, he served as a bond, underwriter and trustee counsel at Winstead PC. John earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Centre College and his law degree from St. Mary’s University. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and an associate member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers; he also is a Registered Representative with the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board and holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 53 licenses. 		David Tiffin Vice President David Tiffin joined Baird in June 2012 as an investment banker. Specializing in school financing solutions, David brings decades of experience and deep understanding to school districts and ISDs across Texas, having served as an assistant superintendent of business and finance for nearly 30 years. Prior to joining Baird, David also was a Vice President in Public Finance at another leading investment firm. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of North Texas. Top

		Dr. Robert Kirk London Vice President Kirk London, Ph.D., joined Baird as an investment banker in June 2012. He has extensive experience with education systems across Texas, having worked in the Texas Public School System for 36 years, including serving as Superintendent of Hays Consolidated Independent School District and Terrell Independent School District. During his time at Hays, he helped oversee three successful bond elections, totaling $215 million, and the issuance of more than $300 million in bonds. At Terrell, he oversaw a successful $47 million bond election and the issuance of $50 million in bond proceeds from three issues. Prior to joining Baird, Kirk also worked at Raymond James. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and his doctorate from Texas A&M Commerce. He is a lifetime member of the Texas Association of School Administrators, the National Parent Teacher Association and Texas Parent Teacher Association. Top

		Peter Lamar Assistant Vice President Peter Lamar joined Baird as a Financial Analyst in June 2012. With more than six years of experience in the field, Peter provides sophisticated analysis, forecasting and modeling to our underwriting and financial advisory clients. In addition, he provides debt overview profiles, credit and restructuring analyses and deal execution support for the southwest team. Prior to joining Baird, Peter worked at another investment firm, providing lead analytical support as senior manager or financial advisor on transactions totaling more than $2.7 billion. Peter earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from Florida State University and holds his FINRA Series 7, 53 and 63 licenses. Top
