Managing Director
David Conley is a Managing Director in our Ohio Municipal Finance Group. Prior to joining Baird in 2006, David was a partner with the firm of Seasongood & Mayer in Cincinnati, where he began his career in 1989. While there, he developed and managed in excess of $3 billion in bond issues, while acting almost exclusively as a sole senior manager throughout Ohio. David earned a BS in Marketing and Finance from Georgetown College.

Tanya K. Hahn
Managing Director
Tanya Hahn is a Managing Director in our Columbus, Ohio Public Finance operations. She is responsible for providing financing expertise to Baird's government, municipal, school district, higher education and non-profit clients in addition to healthcare and senior living facilities nationally. She also expands the overall expertise of Baird's Public Finance business in community development financing. In addition, Tanya received national recognition when awarded the Bond Buyer’s prestigious Deal of the Year Award for Midwest region in 2010 for her role as lead manager in the transaction. A Certified Public Accountant, Tanya and holds an MBA in finance from Rochester Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting and finance from Miami University.

Director
Brian Cooper is a Director in our Columbus, Ohio Public Finance operations. Brian joined Baird in 2003 and specializes in general obligation and revenue based finance including municipal finance, infrastructure development and financial advisory services. Brian has served as financial advisor to the City of Akron, the Summit County Port Authority and the Ohio Department of Development and served as underwriter to the City of Wadsworth, Ohio on the Wadsworth Community Center and the City of Cleveland on their East Bank Flats Appropriation Bonds among other engagements. Brian works with issuers on a day-to-day basis coordinating the implementation of financing plans encompassing all aspects of project financing including credit strategy, financial budgeting and forecasting, debt structuring and placement and project and economic development. Brian graduated cum laude from the Ohio State University and is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB).

Director
Mike Burns has served as financial advisor to several port authorities, economic development officers, and state agencies to promote economic development within the State of Ohio. Mike has structured and implemented the financing of projects which included governmental guarantees, grants, subsidies, low interest rate loans, and bonds issued within state and regional bond fund programs. In addition, Mike provides financial advisory and underwriting services to governmental entities and school districts. These services include the financial modeling, preparation of rating presentations, and underwriting of general obligation bonds, revenue bonds and certificate of participations. Prior to joining Baird in 2007, Mike had over 6 years of experience in commercial lending, leasing, and public finance after graduating from Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance and marketing.
