Managing Director

Wayne Workman manages our Traverse City office and provides investment banking and financial advisory services to state and local governments, colleges, universities, non-profit organizations and air-freight companies. Prior to joining Baird in 2002, he had 10 years of experience in Michigan state government as a financial consultant for the State Municipal Finance Commission and as an auditor with the Michigan Department of Transportation. Wayne earned his BS in Business Administration from Western Michigan University.

Director

Warren Creamer is responsible for the development and structuring of general obligation and revenue issues for counties, cities, building authorities, downtown development authorities, tax increment authorities, townships and school districts. He has considerable experience in many areas of municipal finance, including advance refundings, general obligation and dedicated tax bonds, bonds for school districts, student loans, water, sewer and electric revenue bonds, and various tax-increment-supported bonds. Prior to joining Baird in 1994, he was a Senior Vice President at Hutchinson, Shockey, Erley & Co. and a Vice President at Van Kampen Merritt. Warren received a BS in Finance from Wayne State University.
