LNK Partners (“LNK”) recently completed a minority growth capital investment in Beachbody, LLC (“Beachbody” or the “Company”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Beachbody is a creator of fitness and weight-loss solutions, including P90X®, Insanity®, Brazil Butt Lift®, 10-Minute Trainer® and Les Mills Pump, and operates Beachbody.com and TeamBeachbody.com. Beachbody® programs combine DVD-based workouts with diet guidelines, nutritional supplements (including its breakthrough superfood shake called Shakeology®), customer service and a peer-support system. TeamBeachbody.com includes a network of thousands of independent “Coach” distributors, an online support and fitness community, and thousands of trainers who are certified to apply Beachbody® programming in the gym environment. The Company’s expansion into the beauty category with Derm Exclusive® represents its commitment to providing customers with a comprehensive catalog of healthy alternatives. Beachbody was founded in 1998 and is based in Santa Monica, California.

LNK is a private equity firm that backs management teams building consumer and retail businesses. The firm typically invests up to $150 million of equity per transaction through a range of investment types, including growth capital, buyouts and recapitalizations. LNK was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in White Plains, New York.
