Baird served as the exclusive financial advisor to Access


Access CIG, LLC (“Access” or the “Company”), a portfolio company of Housatonic Partners (“Housatonic”), announced that it has received an equity investment from Summit Partners (“Summit”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2004, Access provides end-to-end records and information management lifecycle services including offsite records storage, secure document shredding, climate controlled media vaulting, digital imaging and electronic records hosting. Access serves more than 10,000 clients across various industries including healthcare, legal, financial services and manufacturing. Current Access locations include facilities in Northern and Southern California, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Oregon and Wisconsin.

Housatonic is a private equity investment firm founded in 1994 with $1 billion in capital under management. The firm focuses on buyouts and recapitalizations of rapidly growing, profitable service businesses with highly recurring revenue. Housatonic has led investments in more than 60 small to mid-sized companies.

Summit is a growth equity investor that provides private equity and venture capital to rapidly growing companies. Founded in 1984, Summit has raised more than $11 billion in capital and has provided growth equity, recapitalization and management buyout financing to more than 330 growing companies across a range of industries and geographies.
