Sale to Harvest Partners


Baird served as the exclusive financial advisor to BHI Energy, Inc.


BHI Energy, Inc. (“BHI” or the “Company”), a portfolio company of Berkshire Partners and Summit Partners, recently completed its sale to Harvest Partners (“Harvest”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

BHI is a leading provider of on-site personnel, value-added services, innovative technologies and solutions needed to support the full lifecycle of power facilities. The Company’s comprehensive services include: Radiation Protection Services, Professional & Technical Staff Augmentation, and Specialty Maintenance Services addressing the nuclear, fossil, renewable and government energy markets. Over its 30+ year history, BHI has built an outstanding reputation for safety, quality service and innovation, and has become the service provider of choice for many of the largest utilities and power-focused engineering firms in North America.

Harvest Partners is a New York based private equity investment firm that specializes in leveraged buyouts and growth financing in general industrial, business services and consumer / retail sectors.

Berkshire Partners, the Boston-based private equity firm, has invested in leading mid-sized companies for over twenty-five years through seven investment funds with aggregate capital of $6.5 billion.
