Sale to The Riverside Company


Baird served as exclusive financial advisor to the selling shareholders.


BloodCenter of Wisconsin Research Foundation (“BCRF”) has sold GTI Diagnostics (“GTI”) to The Riverside Company (“Riverside”) for an undisclosed amount.

Headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, BCRF is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BloodCenter of Wisconsin (“BCW”), a not-for-profit, community-based transfusion medicine organization. BCW, which employs over 800 people and operates 12 donor centers throughout Wisconsin, provides blood and therapeutic products, expert diagnostic testing, medical services and consultation and world class research which benefit patients world-wide.

GTI, located in Waukesha, WI, develops, manufactures and markets medical diagnostics assays for transplantation (human leukocyte antigen or HLA), blood bank and special coagulation laboratories. GTI also provides original equipment manufacturing of HLA products under private label for third parties.
