Robert W. Baird & Co. served as the exclusive financial advisor to Vestcom International, Inc. and Cornerstone Equity Investors, LLC on this transaction.


Vestcom International, Inc. ("Vestcom" or the “Company”), a portfolio company of Cornerstone Equity Investors, LLC (“Cornerstone”), has been acquired by The Stephens Group, LLC and Lake Capital.

Headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, Vestcom is the leading provider of data-driven shelf-edge communications for the nation’s top grocery, drug and mass merchant chains. Vestcom’s solutions benefit these retailers by generating significant cost savings and efficiency enhancements as well as by providing a means to influence consumers’ behavior at the point-of-decision in their stores. The Company also provides point-of-purchase marketing solutions to leading consumer packaged goods companies.

Cornerstone is a New York-based private equity firm that specializes in healthcare, business services and specialty manufacturing. Since 1984, the professionals of Cornerstone have raised over $1.2 billion in committed capital. Cornerstone focuses on middle-market leveraged buyouts of corporate divisions, closely held private companies and small capitalization public companies.

The Stephens Group, LLC, is a private, family-owned firm that invests its capital in private companies with exceptional management teams and high returns on invested capital in growing industries. The Stephens Group typically provides equity capital of $5 million to $75 million per transaction and looks to invest $100-$200 million per year.

Lake Capital is a private equity firm that focuses on investments in service-based enterprises across various industries. The firm is currently managing more than $1.3 billion in equity commitments and seeks to build leading services companies through organic and acquisition-enhanced growth.
