Baird Adds Six Wealth Management Professionals to Dallas, Fort Worth Offices

DALLAS, Dec. 14, 2011
Baird, an international, employee-owned wealth management, capital markets, private equity and asset management firm, announced today that it has added six wealth management professionals, including four Financial Advisors, to its Dallas and Fort Worth offices.

The Grant Halliday Group will be based in Dallas and includes Financial Advisors Neil E. Grant, Director, and Luke Halliday. They are joined by Registered Client Relationship Associate Charu Dayal. The group brings more than 25 years of industry experience to Baird. Previously, The Grant Halliday Group was at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

Grant earned as bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Texas-Denton. He is actively involved with the University of North Texas Exes Alumni Association, and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Heroes of Denton County and the Dallas Symphony’s Vivaldi Patron’s Circle. He lives in Lewisville. Halliday who also earned a bachelor of arts degree from University of North Texas-Denton, lives in Farmers Branch with his wife and two children.

Based in Fort Worth, The HG Group consists of Financial Advisors George Gamez and Jim Hazel, CFP®, both Vice Presidents. They are joined by Registered Client Relationship Associate Michell Barber. The group has more than 50 years of combined industry experience, most recently at Wells Fargo Advisors.

Hazel who lives in Fort Worth graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He has two adult children and two grandchildren. Gamez earned his degree in business administration from Texas Christian University. A Fort Worth native, he and his wife have four children.

Baird has added more than 225 Financial Advisors and Branch Managers to its Private Wealth Management group since the beginning of 2009, the vast majority of whom are industry veterans. Beyond adding talent, Baird has opened or announced plans to open wealth management offices in several new markets. New office locations include Salt Lake City, Portland, Ore., Denver, Fort Worth, Texas, Sacramento, Calif., San Francisco, Charleston, S.C., Charlotte, N.C., Winston-Salem, N.C., Raleigh, N.C., and Lynchburg, Va.
