The University of Chicago Booth School of Business has selected Paul E. Purcell, Chairman, President & CEO of Baird to receive the school’s 2009 Distinguished Corporate Alumni Award.

2008
Deal of the Year Award – The M&A Advisor honored Baird in the Consumer and Retail Products category for advising Technical Concepts, LLC on its successful sale to Newell Rubbermaid.
Manufacturing Sector Adviser of the Year Award – Baird’s global M&A expertise and commitment to this sector was recognized by Acquisitions Monthly for a second consecutive year.
Greenwich Quality Leader Awards – In the awards’ first year, Greenwich Associates honored Baird for excellence in the Small-Mid-Cap Funds categories of U.S. Research & Analyst Service Quality and U.S. Sales Quality.
