Baird, an employee-owned, international capital markets, private equity, wealth and asset management firm, today announced that it has expanded its West Coast team by adding Gregory J. Ingram as Managing Director and Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets. Ingram, a senior investment banking professional with over 25 years of experience, is responsible for jointly overseeing Baird’s equity capital markets efforts and will focus on healthcare, technology and other emerging growth sectors.

Before joining Baird, Ingram served as Head of Equities and Capital Markets for Pacific Growth Equities. Prior to that, Ingram was Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets-Americas for JP Morgan and Head of Equity Capital Markets for Hambrecht & Quist. Greg began his career in 1983 at Bear Stearns.

The addition of Ingram represents the continued expansion of Baird’s Equity Capital Markets franchise. Since the beginning of 2008, Baird’s
Investment Banking group has added nine Managing Directors, including
John Moriarty and Renee Ryan in Palo Alto and
Anthony Siu in Shanghai. The firm’s
Institutional Sales and Trading group also has experienced accelerating growth and record activity in recent years, including
the expansion of the platform last August to include new offices in Boston, San Francisco and Stamford, Conn.
