Baird Financial Advisors And Financial Advisor Teams Receive National, Regional
Honors In 2008

Baird announced today that an unprecedented number of its Financial Advisors and Financial Advisor teams received national and regional honors in 2008 for being among the best in the financial services industry by Barron’s and other leading national publications. Baird’s nearly 600 Financial Advisors serve as personal wealth managers, developing customized financial strategies that address key concerns such as financial planning, asset allocation, tax management and wealth transfer.

Financial Advisors and Financial Advisor teams recognized in 2008 include:
- Susan Bellehumeur, Managing Director and Branch Manager in Baird’s Waukesha, Wis., branch, was recognized by On Wall Street magazine as one of 10 “Branch Managers of the Year.” Bellehumeur was honored at an awards dinner March 18 in New York City, and was recognized in the magazine’s April issue. Bellehumeur is a member of The Bellehumeur Buday Waldkirch & Yost Group, with Joseph Buday, Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor; Tom Waldkirch, Senior Vice President and Associate Branch Manager; and Meg Yost, First Vice President and Senior Investment Consultant.
- Gregory Collins, Senior Vice President and Senior Investment Consultant, and Robert Heidenrich, Senior Vice President and Senior Investment Consultant, in Baird’s Chicago office were recognized among the “Top 50 Financial Advisers” in the April issue of Chicago magazine. Heidenrich is a member of The Heidenrich Group, with Tom Heidenrich, Vice President and Senior Investment Consultant.
- Leah Hoffman, Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor in Baird’s Phoenix office, was named one of the “50 Distinguished Women in Wealth Management” in the April issue of Wealth Manager magazine. Hoffman is the founding member of The Hoffman and Hock Group, which also includes Lana Hock, First Vice President and Financial Advisor.
- Gordon Owens, Senior Vice President and Branch Manager in Baird’s Orlando office, was recognized as one of the “Top 10 Nest Egg Managers in Central Florida” in the April 18 Orlando Business Journal. Owens is a member of the Private Asset Management Group, with Meade Owens, Vice President and Financial Advisor. The Private Asset Management Group was recognized for a third consecutive year as one of the “Top-Ranked Advisor Teams in America” in the September issue of Research magazine.
- Michael G. Klein, Managing Director and Financial Advisor in Baird’s Milwaukee office, was named one of the “Top 100 Financial Advisers” in the April 19 issue of Barron’s for a second consecutive year. Klein is a member of the Private Asset Management Group, which was recognized for a fourth consecutive year as one of the “Top-Ranked Advisor Teams in America” in the September issue of Research magazine. The team includes Managing Directors Philip C. Dallman, Gerald L. Gerndt, and James A. Schultz, and Senior Analyst Kristin Lindblom, CFA.
- Randy Beeman, Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor in Baird’s Reston, Va., office, was recognized as one of the “Top 50 Wealth Advisers” in the June issue of Virginia Business magazine. Beeman is co-founder of The Wise Investor Group, which was recognized as one of the “Top-Ranked Advisor Teams in America” in the September issue of Research magazine. In addition to Beeman, the team also includes Financial Advisors Simon Hamilton, Nancy Osmond, Chase Hinderstein and Dave Mount; Financial Planners Greg Smith, Ann Summerson and Patty Callahan; and Branch Manager Eric Wightman.
- Lisa Keverian-Press, Managing Director and Senior Investment Consultant in Baird’s Lake Forest, Ill., office, was recognized for a third consecutive year as one of the “Top 100 Women Financial Advisers” in the June 7 issue of Barron’s. Keverian-Press is a member of The Keverian Laubusch Group, with Dan Laubusch, First Vice President and Senior Investment Consultant, and Steve Perritt, Vice President and Financial Advisor.
- Kevin Kelley, First Vice President and Senior Investment Consultant in Baird’s Boulder, Co., office, was recognized as one of “Colorado’s Top Wealth Advisers” in the July 4 Denver Business Journal.
- John Mockovciak, Managing Director and Senior Investment Consultant, in Baird’s Dallas office, was recognized as one of “The Winner’s Circle Top Wealth Advisers,” in the Aug. 29 Dallas Business Journal. Mockovciak is a member of The Mockovciak Woolley Group, with Matt Woolley, Financial Advisor, and Barry Greenberg, CFP®, Financial Advisor. The Mockovciak Woolley Group was recognized for a third consecutive year as one of the “Top-Ranked Advisor Teams in America” in the September issue of Research magazine.
- The CWS Wealth Management Group in Baird’s Cleveland office was recognized as one of the “Top-Ranked Advisor Teams in America” in the September issue of Research magazine. The team includes Financial Advisors Tim Clepper and Kelly Kuennen, and Senior Investment Consultants Charlie Synder and Bryan Weber.
- Christopher G. Didier, Managing Director and Senior Investment Consultant, CFA, in Baird’s Milwaukee office was named one of the “Top 100 Wealth Advisors” in the October issue of Worth. Didier is a member of the Private Asset Management Group, which includes partners Edward H. DeFrance, CFA, CPA, and David A. Klenke, CFA, CPA, both Senior Investment Consultants.
Baird has significantly expanded its wealth management capabilities and geographic reach in recent years, adding offices and veteran Financial Advisors and teams in Sacramento, Calif., Scottsdale, Ariz. and Minnetonka, Minn.
