Baird’s Global Equity Capital Markets Businesses Honored in 2011

In an unquestionably challenging market environment, Baird’s global investment banking and private equity teams each earned international acclaim from the media and esteemed industry sources last year:

Baird was recognized for the second time by The M&A Advisor as“Investment Banking Firm of the Year,” one of several awards received from the publication at the end of 2011. Others included: “Energy Deal of the Year” and “Equity Financing Deal of the Year.” Additionally, Dutch publication Financieel Management recognized Baird’s European team for the“Best Deal MidMarket.”
Baird Capital Partners Asia – the China-focused growth equity fund of Baird Private Equity – received a 2011 Asia Pacific M&A Atlas “Private Equity Deal of the Year Award.” This followed earlier honors for Baird Private Equity, including a fourth consecutive recognition for Baird Capital Partners among the top 20 “Consistent Performers” by Private Equity Intelligence Ltd., and an Unquote British Private Equity “Small Buyout of the Year” Award for Baird Capital Partners Europe.
