Baird Financial Advisors Receive National, Regional Honors in First Half of 2009
MILWAUKEE, June 18, 2009
Baird announced today that seven Financial Advisors have received national and regional honors to date in 2009 for being among the best in the financial services industry by Barron’s and other leading national publications. Baird’s more than 600 Financial Advisors serve as personal wealth managers, developing customized financial strategies that address key concerns such as financial planning, asset allocation, tax management and wealth transfer.

Financial Advisors and Financial Advisor teams recognized to date in 2009 include:
- The following Financial Advisors were recognized among the “Top 1,000 Advisors, State-by-State” in the Feb. 9 issue of Barron’s:
- Randy Beeman, Managing Director and Financial Advisor in Baird’s Reston, Va., office. Beeman, who is co-founder of the Wise Investor Group, ranked No. 1 in Virginia.
- Philip Dallman, Managing Director and Senior Investment Consultant in Baird’s Milwaukee office. He is a member of the Milwaukee Private Asset Management Group.
- Michael Dwyer, Managing Director and Financial Advisor in Baird’s Phoenix office.
- Michael G. Klein, Managing Director and Financial Advisor in Baird’s Milwaukee office. He is a member of the Milwaukee Private Asset Management Group.
- John Mockovciak, Managing Director and Senior Investment Consultant in Baird’s Dallas office. He is a member of The Mockovciak Woolley Group.
- Gordon Owens, Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor in Baird’s Orlando office. He is a member of The Owens Group.
- Glenn Pahnke, Managing Director and Senior Investment Consultant in Baird’s Scottsdale office. He is a member of The Pahnke Group.
- Randy Beeman and Michael G. Klein were named among the “Top 100 Financial Advisers” in the April 20 issue of Barron’s. This is Beeman’s first year on the list and Klein’s third.
- Randy Beeman is recognized in the June issue of Virginia Business, as being among the top 25 financial advisors in Virginia according to the “Top 1,000 Advisors, State-by-State” list published by Barron’s.
Baird’s Private Wealth Management business continues to grow around the country. In 2008, the firm added 59 Financial Advisors – a nearly 85% increase in recruitment over the previous year. Since the beginning of 2009, Baird has hired 72 advisors. Beyond adding talent across the country, Baird’s Private Wealth Management business has also added new offices in other key markets including Sacramento, Calif., Baltimore and Easton, Md., Minnetonka, Minn., and Philadelphia, and announced plans to open offices in San Francisco and Nevada.
Further reflecting the growth of the firm’s Private Wealth Management business, Baird ranked No. 25 out of 40 on Barron’s annual list of the “Top Wealth Managers in the U.S.” in the Oct. 13 issue. Firms were ranked by assets under management for individual client accounts of $1 million or more as of June 30.
