2013 ‘Women at Baird’ Will Focus on Intentional, Authentic Leadership
Bonnie St. John to Deliver Keynote Address; 400 to Attend Professional Development, Networking Event

Baird, an employee-owned international financial services firm, will host the fifth annual Women at Baird event, its marquee professional development and networking event, on Nov. 12. The 2013 event, hosted by Baird’s Women Associate Resource Group
, will focus on intentional and authentic leadership with the theme, “Be Intentional; Write Your Own Story.” 400 Baird associates from around the country are expected to attend this year’s event at the Hilton Hotel in Milwaukee, Wis.
The 2013 event will feature a keynote address, “How Great Women Lead,” by Olympic medalist and best-selling author Bonnie St. John
. St. John will also facilitate workshops on how to build a support team of mentors, sponsors and coaches, as well as how to build your personal brand. Other sessions will include: “Women as Buyers,” led by Ruth Kallio-Mielke, Director, Deloitte Tax LLP; “Accept it or Change it,” a discussion of how to reduce work/life stress led by Kyra Cavanaugh, President, Life Meets Work
; a Lean In book study; interactive workshops on negotiation, intentional networking, and many more.
