Baird is looking for intelligent people who are interested in making a change to a client-focused financial services firm through our two-year Financial Advisor Trainee Program.
Financial Advisor trainee candidates:
Have a true passion for this industry and for success
Have three to five years experience in a profession (accounting, banking, teaching, media, etc.) and some sales experience
Possess a strong work ethic and exceptional personal integrity
Have some personal investing history
Training
We offer Financial Advisor trainees a comprehensive two-year training program, divided between the branch office and Baird's corporate headquarters in Milwaukee. Although formal training is critical to your success, you also need practical on-the-job training to help you learn about the industry and Baird. That's why you'll be involved, almost immediately, in the day-to-day business of wealth management.
Ongoing Professional Development
Baird is committed to long-term relationships with both clients and associates. We offer formal programs annually in Milwaukee and at regional locations, and we are focused on helping you develop your business. You'll also receive the most current securities industry updates, as well as the opportunity to network with other Baird Financial Advisors.
Compensation
Compensation for Financial Advisor trainees includes a base salary and commission payout as well as bonuses for assets under management, wealth management planning and achieving other specific client goals. In addition, you'll be eligible for Baird's generous benefits package.
