This Time Is Different

It seems like each new market and economic crisis is inevitably compared to the most painful one that immediately preceded it, and the chaos that came with the global spread of COVID-19 has been no exception. Shortly after the first major U.S. sell-off, it was already drawing comparisons to The Global Financial Crisis that began in 2008 and birthed The Great Recession.
